Maaco had my vehicle from 12/6-12/10/21. When I picked up my vehicle, I was not given paperwork, I assume because it was a warranty repair. I was presented a receipt to sign saying that they did the work, but no one showed me my car prior to asking me to sign that I picked it up. I noticed that at night when lights hit the paint, there was a hazy, swirling, ripple look to the paint. I took photos and notified Maaco. When they reviewed the photos I emailed ***** called me back right away and told me that he could clearly see the issue was caused by Maaco from the vehicle being buffed when they had it. ***** set me up with an appointment on 12/28/21 to correct the issue. When I arrived to get my car on 12/28, I received no paperwork nor did I sign any paperwork. ***** mentioned to me in conversation that when he showed the pictures of my car to someone else at Maaco they said things like, Im not sure that we can fix this or I dont know how to fix this. ***** told me he instructed that person how to fix it. When I got home, I shined light onto the car to see if the issue was resolved, but a whole new set of issues was now evident. My vehicle now has varying shades of black paint, multiple spots where the buffer damaged by vehicle, at least two large dull and rough patches, and new scratches in the paint that are too numerous to count. I called Maaco Customer Service which was no help. On 12/29/21, my husband called Maaco in Mechanicsburg and spoke with **** who told my husband that what I told him was incorrect, that it was never said to me by his facility (regarding not being sure the issue could be fixed). **** also told my husband that the person who was assigned to do the work on my car on the 28th wasn't qualified enough to do work to black cars yet and that it was known prior to this person working on my car; he also told my husband he (****) should have just paid someone else to do it for him. My car remains damaged by work done by Maaco.
