Our reservations were from 7/1-7/5 for a 4 night stay for the 4th of July. To start off it was the most unwelcoming welcome you could possibly experience. The owners Jamie and especially Sharon were extremely rude and condescending from the minute we arrived. We watched them harass multiple other parties not even associated with our group (4 different sites) and even throw parties out with no refund and for no reason. Sharon lurks in the bushes and comes out to berate her guests and threaten/throw out parties for absolutely no reason. We thought we were in the clear until last night, when she followed our children from one site to another, yelling at them for riding their bikes because it was getting dark, she then Proceeded to speak to 10+ adults like we were 5 years old and refused to leave after we acknowledged her. She threatened to throw us out and “call the cops” site on scene. She wasn’t aware we had a police officer in our party. All three of our parties then began reading reviews online and let me tell you, this happens all the time with these people. I believe she suffers from mental illness. This doesn’t even begin to to explain the egg shells we had to walk on the entire stay, so much so that we spent almost all of Tuesday offsite at another destination just so we didn’t have to be there. They even told one of our groups they had to park their car in overflow when they were simply there to pick up their mother who is a hemipIegic and cannot walk and in a wheelchair. Their car fit perfectly in front of the camper in their spot. Sharon also thought it was appropriate to berate a 15 year old girl because of her weight. Just read the reviews to back up my claims. Truly the worst camping experience I have ever had. I am requesting a full refund for myself and the other 3 parties that joined us. I wish the very worst for Erie Holiday owners and they should be ashamed of themselves.
