  They have now missed several trash pick **** which is causing waste to accumulate for wildlife to get into on our property. Despite letting them know as soon as it happens, the garbage has yet to be picked up and its pushing several weeks now. Have contacted them 3x about coming to get the trash that they missed and still nothing. Communication with this company has been horrid all around- simply transferring the account into another name took multiple days of phone calls to different people. If they arent going to pick up the trash why offer the missed service service at all.

  This is terrible. Every month we call and no service. MAYBE ONCE A MONTH. Garage is piling up. We pay our bill and complain it doesn't matter! I will try the ***** of health next.

  Their bill paying website is very unfriendly. Due to fraud we had to get a new checking account. This website it is hard to impossible to know what checking account is listed for paying your bill. All online sites at least show you the last 3 or 4 digits to know what account is being used. Please be aware they will charge you $35.00 if you ACH a payment to a closed account. No warning and they will not refund your money. I will be going to receiving a bill and paying by mail.

  Penn Waste has been the most efficient waste management system consistently getting all our trash, recycling and seasonal brush bins. Our whole neighborhood is taken care of quickly and completely in the early morning. All of our neighbors are pleased with the trash, brush and recycling pick up that I know of! The website makes things clear with what's accepted or not and how to do special pickups. We are grateful for our truck drivers and all the hard work they do that gets so taken for granted!

  We have a penn waste account through our condo association. My wife is always diligent about paying our bill. 2-3 months ago she tried to pay online, but it would not accept payment. The site said we had no balance dueMy wife called and was told she could pay it online. She explained to the rep that it would not take our payment. After multiple calls we later found out that our neighbors payment was accidentally applied to ours. By the time they corrected our bill and we were able to pay they charged us a late fee. I tried calling them to get the fee canceled. The First **** told me to disregard the letter that was already sent. We then got a second letter. I called again. The Second **** couldnt figure out how the charge came back, but assured me it would be removed. Im now writing this review because we just got a hard charge on our bill for the fee. Are these people this dense, or is someone f*cking with us? Penn waste, fix your f*ckup!

  The worst trash service I’ve ever had in my life. They have the audacity to increase rates. Repeatedly refuse to pick up my recycling on a regular basis because it’s not in THEIR bin… even though their bun doesn’t have a lid which attracts wildlife. Then the solution is for me to pay extra to use their bin……. Nope!

  I don’t know so much about the company, but the people they employ are ridiculous. The drivers of the trash truck say they need a Worlk pick up to pick up something big I do a bulk pick up and there’s one driver who refuses to do anything and leaves trash behind, and when I tried to talk to him about it. He was very indignant took a puff on his cigarette and then blew it in my face, I was even told by one of the helpers that he just wants to give me a hard time and I see that he won’t pick up all my trash I can’t even get a call back from a supervisor

  Penn Waste is nothing "but a WASTE" and a full-time Rip-Off. They charge for pickups they do not make. Refuse any refund on missed pick ups (I've had about a dozen in the past couple of years.) They dump trash in the street and IF they pick it up at all, they only pick up half of it. They have lied to me EVERY time I have called them about a problem. They will promise to do what is needed and then you never hear from them again. They ignore you and hope you'll go away.
  The last yard waste pick up this past Nov. half the waste was still left in my two cans and when I went to take them around back I find they they destroyed one of them and broke the rim on the other can, and AGAIN they promised to replace them and I've never heard from them since. - - - - - - AND then there is the Orange Bag FRAUD they pulled a couple of years ago. I bought two rolls of bag so that I wouldn't get a weekly charge. Since I have no family and live alone I produce almost no trash which is why I took this offer. It takes me two weeks to fill a kitchen waste can. 90% of my trash goes into the recycling can. An Orange bag lasted me about a month, and I still have a whole roll left - but since they weren't making any money that way they defrauded every Orange Bag customer by breaking that "SIGNED" agreement ( THAT WE ALL PAID FOR ) & refused to refund or buy back their bags, and AGAIN ignored every call. - - - AFAIC, this company is nothing but a lying, thieving organized crime ring and the state should put them out of business,,, and the next thing I am going to do is file fraud charges with the State Attorney General's office. PERIOD! AND my township (Susquehanna) shouldn't even be doing business with them, and let them find someone else to steal from!!!   We have paid our bill and no trash was picked up in 4 weeks. I have called them every week and still no pick up. This is getting ridiculous! Fraud by deception!

  I realize all costs have increased, BUT our service in Conewago Township for the tag a bag system has increased 150% for 2023! We are being penalized because we recycle paper, plastic, cardboard, & compost wet garbage. Each bag was increased from $6. To $15./bag. This increase is price gouging!
  Regular service increased from $5.58 to $6./bag.
  It is a contracted service & I have no choice. What am I to do?
