      October 10th 2024 I gave *** ***** the owner of J Can mechanical LLC a starting deposit of $6,500 to start the process for installing a new furnace and remodeling my bathroom. The property is in uptown ********** on 7th and ****** st. Fast forward nothing has been started since he received the check and now were in February of 2025. I again reached out to the ** several times to see what was the hold up and he just kept on giving me the run around. I finally just asked for my money back but nothing. He finally agreed to give me my money back with a check. The first check bounced and he sent me another check and then that one bounced to. Where now in April and I still have yet to get my money back. Ive tried to give him serval chances to make it right but nothing. We are now in April I will be to take him to small claims court but before I do I would like to try this option first. I also have proof from my bank that both checks bounced. I was able to send a picture of the check I gave him and a check he gave me. This email is the one he used to send me the contract **************************
