Ihad my car inspected and aligned july1, I drove my car the next day just after inspectiontion which states they Ispected my tires and the front passenger tire blew as I turned the corner. My son tried to get the lug nuts off but they were to tight. A mechanic **** brought bolt extractor and all it did was shred the lug nut. He said in all his years he never seen them put on that hard.his number is5703603468. My car was towed and impounded and towed to another garage for repairs. Mr ******* refuses to take responsibility at first he told he had to look it up to see which tire they pulled, I said I would wait then he said he didn't have to pull the tires if he could see. He wanted me to tell him which tire and said no he would just say it was the other. The tire was supposedly inspected and the lug nuts should have been removable which they were not.

When I spoke to the garage owner he said they didn't have to pull the wheels if they could see. My car was taken to **** for i section and to have what I was told would be a tie rod end. When I made the appointment I was then told it was written up as a ball joint, but when they did the inspection they said it was strutts and would cost 1000. I took my car to a trusted mechanic and he recommended Stableys. As you can see Stableys marked that they pulled all 4 tires which they should have as the emissions was done at ****. They did not know me nor I them.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/11/2025

    Good afternoon,

I am writing in response to the complaint filed by **** ******* regarding her state inspection. I take all customer concerns seriously and would like to provide a detailed account of the events.
*** ******* brought her vehicle to my shop after expressing dissatisfaction with another garage, stating she believed they were "ripping her off" for extensive suspension work. She asked me to perform a state inspection, noting that her emissions inspection had already been completed elsewhere.
I performed a thorough state safety inspection in accordance with all regulations. As per the inspection laws, I am required to remove one front and one rear wheel to check for proper play in the suspension and steering components. My inspection form, which is attached, documents that the left front and right rear wheels were removed for this procedure. The vehicle passed all inspection requirements at that time. I want to add that lug nuts are always torqued to spec using torque sticks to ensure proper and safe fastening.
A few days later, *** ******* contacted me to report that she had a tire blowout and a lug nut was too tight. I immediately offered for her to have the vehicle brought back to my shop so I could properly diagnose the issue. I assured her that if the problem was a result of negligence on my part, I would take full responsibility.
Unfortunately, *** ******* declined my offer to inspect the vehicle and instead chose to threaten legal action and other complaints without giving me the opportunity to examine the car and address her concerns. The safety and satisfaction of my customers are my top priorities. I have over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, and I maintain a strict policy of ensuring all work is performed correctly and safely.
I stand by the quality of my work and the procedures followed during *** Hollicks state inspection. I am disappointed that I was not given the chance to investigate her concerns directly. I believe that I acted professionally and responsibly throughout my interactions with *** *******.

    Respectfully,

    ********* garage

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

     Complaint: 23553815

I am rejecting this response because:
As I stated the inspection sticker clearly shows that Stableys pulled all four of my tires. I was without a vehicle for weeks awaiting repairs. This happened a day after the inspection this garage is responsible.

    Regards,

    **** *******
