    I had water damage in my home three months ago. It is still uninhabitable. I have been dismissed and lied to while the whole thing has been dragged out. I still don't have answers, money, or a time table. I have been sent an overdue bill multiple times that Lititz Mutual said they paid. A summary of the issues I have encountered is as follows:The payout from Lititz is wildly inadequate and inaccurate. There have been many contradictions as to who is paying what and how much, as well as what is being covered and what has already been covered.It took 32 days to even mention that the *** insurance needed to be involved.It took 23 days (the first time) for **** the adjuster from Lititz to inform me of missing documentation that was needed to move forward.It took 35 days after report of incident to get anyone out to dry out the floor and wall and treat for mold, fungus, and mildew. During this time, it continued to get worse, causing more damage that then increased the overall price of repair.At times the insurance adjuster, *** insurance agent, and *** president all communicated with my father instead of me, leaving me uninformed about what was happening and what was still required. Everyone thought someone else had talked to me. I asked them not to since my father is not on the policy, does not live there, and has nothing to do with any of this.

    We had storm damage on July 1st, 2023. Lititz Mutual failed to fully investigate the claim. They delayed the claim process over 8 months. They falsely made up their own claim date and double billed our insurance record. I am disabled and they even marked a strike on our insurance record for checking the roof in 2022 with NO CLAIM! They wrote a defamatory letter of experience which wrongly claimed we made 4 insurance claims in less than 2 years. We made 2. One in 2022 for a sewer back up that was due to no fault of ours. Too much rain fell in one location for the sewer utilities to handle. The other was the storm on July 1st, 2023. It caused hail and wind damage. The insurance company was upset over the ********** code ordinances. They made up a separate NEW ADDITIONAL DATE of July 17th for the hail damage. Not the one day I called in. Please see attached documents. Statement letter, our hail report, Lititz letter of experience. I want my insurance record corrected to correctly reflect the claims. Just 2. We live on a fixed income, and this has caused the premium to jump from 1146.00 to 5000.00 yearly. Help. This company is bad news. Our previous broker is pulling all clients from them and no longer referring them. Lititz never fully investigated the claim from the get-go. They mispresented their intentions to us. They falsely made a claim date resulting in a double billing to our insurance record. They were deceptive in their practices in dealing with us. They misrepresented the contract terms and language. They did not disclose until we had been canceled that they had altered the dates of claim. They did not inform us of our policy provisions or exclusions. They negotiated and settled the entire claim in bad faith. This has taken an emotional and physical toll on both me and my husband. I am disabled and in treatment for cancer. Lititz failed to give a basic accommodation to a handicapped person. This is how they treat their customers with disabilities.
