    Attached are reservations and cancellation emails. We made reservations for *********************** for August 2025. We were not told that there was going to be a change in ownership when the reservations were made. Applebrook the new owners implemented a new pet policy. Our dog which is a mix breed will not be allowed to stay at the campground according to the new policy so we canceled the reservation. We havent received a refund for the cancellation. After numerous calls we were told that they couldnt refund our credit card and a check would be mailed. It has been over 30 days and we havent received a check and they will no longer take my calls. I have been told someone from corporate (****) will call me but he hasnt responded. I have been patient but Im now frustrated. We are retired on a fixed income and $199.50 is an amount we need. Thank you

    Attached is a letter stating we have already given a refund.  We apologize for any inconvenience we had just recently acquired the property and are taking steps to ensure such issues do not occur.

    I apologize for the delayed response. Initially, I thought my reply had successfully gone through the BBB portal when this matter first came to my attention. Additionally, the holidays caused some delays on my end.

     

    When the guest called to cancel their reservation, we promptly refunded $99.75 to their card on 11/6/2024 and waived the cancellation fee. Unfortunately, our staff was not informed that the guest also wanted to cancel a separate reservation for the same amount. Upon receiving your letter, I immediately canceled and refunded the second reservation on 12/11/2024, bringing the total refund to $199.50the amount the guest was disputing. Please find attached documentation confirming these transactions.

     

    We also reached out to the guest via their stored phone number to notify them of the resolution, but we did not receive a responsepossibly due to the out-of-state number.
