les deliberately preparing scam.I am aware of everything including terms run and drive , sold as is, like every other used vehicle..I'm not car flipper, I'm not dealer, I am not mechanic shop owner. I'm just a regular small person trying to save some money buying hail damage 2018 vehicle with only ****** mi.They have the option to present vehicles with engine damage, mechanical damage, and obviously they deliberately hide that from buyers in this case from me. Like I said they knew about it, everybody who get anything with this car knows about this damage and the fact that day trying to hide that and sell the vehicle that ************* it's a scam, potentially even criminal.

All the auction admit to is that the vehicle was able to start ("RUN" with a jump or without) and go into gear ("DRIVE") at the time that the vehicle was dropped off at the auction; and, as disclosed on our website, there is no guarantee that the vehicle will run and drive at time of pick up, which could be for a multitude of reasons. This explanation can be seen if you move your cursor over the "?" next to where it states "Run and Drive" and can be found in our FAQs
      ****************************************************************************************************************

Based on the complaint, the vehicle would still be considered a run and drive vehicle per the auction's standards. There are inherent risks with purchasing a vehicle from a salvage auction, even if the vehicle has a clean title such as this one.

Unfortunately, as we are not the auction, we do not have access to the vehicle(s) and cannot perform our own inspections, nor do we have access to any additional photos or information. Whatever information is shared with us by the actual auction, is what we provide on our website.

Mine complaint was solely based on a fact that they should disclose what is wrong with this car. They new about engine damage or mechanical damage in the engine and they HIDE THAT FACT PURPOSELY to scam potential buyer, misleading with other  minor things that won't affect drivability of the car (like aesthetic of the car).  Replacing the parts with parts from other cars from scrap yard and selling like insurance loss, all that is leading to scam that is managed purposely. Car is total junk without engine it doesn't worth nothing, they absolutely scam me for $5,600. They do not offer anything to me, they don't want to share anything, not even smallest part of responsibility for the money they took from me.

As previously advised, we are not the auction, we do not have access to the vehicles and cannot perform our own inspections, nor do we have access to any additional photos or information. Whatever information is shared with us by the actual auction, is what we provide on our website.

There are reasons why clean title vehicles are sometimes sold through salvage auctions instead through traditional means. Sometimes, it is because the seller is unable to sell the vehicle on their lot or online, and would rather sell it through an auction where everything is sold "as is, where is."

I repeat, we are not the auction. Our fees are the same if someone buys a vehicle for $1,000 or $100,000. Therefore, we do not promote any one vehicle over another. The full due diligence on a vehicle is on the person bidding on it, all we provide is access to the auctions for a nominal fee. The rest of a customer's payment goes to the auction, and eventually to the seller.

I purchased a Run and Drive vehicle on 10/21/24, using RideSafely.com. The car was delivered on 10/23/24. When the car arrived it sounded like it had an engine knock, and some type of grinding coming from under the hood. After starting the car it had smoke coming from the tailpipes and under the hood. I can't link the video here but I did send it to ****** the **** of RideSafely.com.The coolant hose held together with black electrical tape, not something you could see from pictures or notice unless specifically looking for it. I towed the car to a local mechanic and had the car looked at. They confirmed this vehicle will require hours of labor and thousands of dollars in diagnosis charges alone, including engine disassembly and cylinder compression tests, and/or complete engine replacement. The car was listed as ************ Primary Damage: Minor Dent/Scratches. Nothing listed as mechanical damage. This car is mechanically totaled. I purchased a car with dents and scratches and RideSafely sent me a car with extensive mechanical damage.Taken directly from the RideSafely website: The ** Mechanical code indicates the presence of mechanical issues in a vehicle. This can include a range of problems, from engine troubles to malfunctioning transmissions or other vital mechanical components. Mechanical damage or defects are defined as any harm to a vehicles parts that makes it unusable, except for issues related to routine maintenance items. The ** *****, doesnt return calls, is never available and takes 2 business weeks to reply to an email. If you dont believe me, give him a call to his direct line **************. This whole company is a joke and borderline SCAM.

Ridesafely.com Inc. is a website meant to facilitate the purchase of vehicles by the general public, primarily from salvage auctions throughout the United States. We are by no means an auction, simply a broker to auctions in which general public buyers (non-dealers) are often not permitted to participate directly. We have been in business for 20+ years providing such access to the public within the US and for international buyers. We are an online business whose staff has no physical access to the vehicles that are sold through our website; and we try to share as much of the information about each vehicle as the actual auctions share on their website.

This vehicle was sold to *** ****** with the disclosure that the title was pending for a 30-day period from the auction as they were waiting to receive it from their state DMV in CT. Unfortunately, the title took a couple of extra weeks to obtain. Once we received the title from the auction on 1/5/2024 (***** tracking #************), we immediately sent it to *** ******. It was delivered to him on 1/8/2024 (***** tracking #************).

hello, I bought a car at auction and I already paid for the car more than 1 month ago, in this auction there are some inventories with the observation that the title may have a delivery delay of 30 to 180 days and we understand perfectly, however the inventory that I bought does not there was observation of delay of the title and it has been more than 30 days since it was delivered, I already contacted the company and they are always making up lying excuses, in the last reply by email I was informed that the title will arrive between 2 and 4 weeks, absurd since the car had no note of delay in delivery of the title, I will send the image of the inventory that I paid for and which has no note of delay in the title, but I will also send an image with a marking of an inventory any so that the difference can be observed, remembering that the TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WEBSITE state that there really may be a delay, but these terms and conditions must be applied to the inventory with the correct observations!

I purchased a 2000 ********** ********* pickup through their online auction on 8/12/2022for a total of $2327.00 including all fees. The vehicle was in St Louis Missouri which I went to pick it up with no issues. I waited for the title to arrive via ***** but i never received it. I called their office about the title which they said was sent out on 8/31/22. I never received this title and when i called RideSafely again i was told that the title had been lost. I was transferred to Lelie, one of the managers, who was very rude and said it was not her fault but they were trying to get the issue resolved and i would be called and updated on the situation. I called 9/29 and was told they were working on things and would call me back. I followed up on 10/4 to the same song and dance. In November i called again and finally had one of the operators tell me that they had received notice on 10/13 that they were not able to get a duplicate title from the auction, and on 10/20 that they were notified from the state of MIssouri that they could not get a title at all for this vehicle. all of this time they are holding my money, plus expenses to have the vehicle shipped. I was connected after at least 10 Phone calls to a manager named Roman, who said they were trying to get a title through multiple backdoor avenues such as " abandoned vehicle" Mechanics liens and etc. but were not having any luck. Roman stated that he would call me back on 11/12 with some type of resolution, however he did not return the call and could not be reached through the direct number he had given me. As of 11/16 i still have not gotten a resolve to this issue, i still have not received my funds back, and no one will return my call. I have bought other vehicles in the past through this company that had no issues, but when it comes to them doing the right thing to resolve an issue, apparently thats where they are not so good. You can bet they wont return a call.

I purchased a 2017 ********* off Ridesafely.com auction. I checked the vin with several websites and seen it had not been in any accident or floods. In the picture’s the damaged area which was listed you can barely see. As the description did list that the damage was on the left side of the vehicle and the pictures the truck looked great. Ride safely contacted me and said my truck is ready to be picked up so I drive an hour and a half to get to ****** in Wichita Ks to pick the vehicle up and ****** asked if I have an appointment I said I do not they said you must have an appointment and we have no openings today you will have to come back tomorrow I explain I live an hour and a half away and that I have to work I don’t have that kind of time I’m here now with a car trailer can I please just grab my vehicle thay said absolutely not and it’s almost only 1:00 pm so I say fine I set the appointment for 8:15am I come back to get the truck and had to purchase vests from ****** that had to be worn in order to load the vehicle then we get back there I see the truck and it was not as described nor did it look like the pictures the truck was smashed up badly every fender door bed cab it was in way bad shape. The fork lift driver picks the vehicle up with his forklift to load it onto the trailer and damages the drivers rear tire and wheel before dropping it onto our trailer. We leave with the vehicle I get home with the vehicle and my hired help and I inspect the vehicle to get it running and the code that come up said it’s throttle body or ecm I start with replacing the ecm still no go I drop the starter it’s full of mud not a good sign I then drop the oil plug and it’s full of water the transmission full of water this vehicle was a flood vehicle even the fuel tank was full to the cap with water. After hidden fees I had to pay to pick up the vehicle I had a $6,000 bidding limit yet it costed me $7,017. As it is illegal to sell a flood vehicle and not disclose that information

Purchase Date 8-8-2022 Purchase price $3,582.00 The agreed purchase was a running/driving car. This was in the auction description. They only check the running/ driving condition upon arrival of auction car. I received a vehicle that does not start, does not run, does not drive. It needs a battery and needs internal engine work. When i found this out I asked for proof that the vehicle started and drove, however nothing was ever shown to me. I have reached out to the company many many times. I believe this owe me a refund or a discount for this vehicle. I would have never paid as much if I knew the vehicle did not run, heck no one would have spent as much. Not to mention they ripped me off over daily storage fees. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My issue has not been resolved. My member number is ******. My invoice number was ****** 2012 Audi Q5 2.0L
