    I received a collection letter from the ********** of ***** W. ********** of ********************************************************************************************, to my minor son, for a Covid-19 lab test that was ordered 9/2/2020, by ******************* in *******. The collection letter states that I owe $99. Number one I believe I have already paid the $99 a while back, two this is past the four year statute of limitations, number three ******************* said they believe this is a scam and have had ongoing complaints about collection letters for Genisys Diagnostics, which is not a member of the BBB and has a history of complaints... ******************* said to ignore the letter. I'm afraid to do that, though, as it was sent to my son, a minor, and I don't want him to have any issues with his credit, etc.

    I received a letter of notice of default and demand for payment for a covid test preformed in September of 2020. All covid tests at that time were either covered by insurance or the covid act. I should not have been billed.

    I am receiving letters from a collection agent for 5 family members for blood work done during covid. This should have been billed to my ***************** or covered under the emergency covid act. The bill states since we have passed all time frames to submit a claim to your Insurence it is futile now for you to send us your Insurence information for claim submission. Therefore we have no other choice but only to bill you for the pending balance I never received any requests for any Insurence information other that what I gave the lab that did the work for me. This is the first request ever sent to me. If they are 4 years late in the billing it should not my responsibility.

    I received a letter from the company under the ********** of ********************************** stating I had an outstanding balance of $333.65 for services provided on 3/5/2020. When I contacted the company and asked for proof of the claims being filed, they continued to outlined they reached out to my insurance (UHC) and it was applied to my deductible. I spoke with several managers who told me a payment plan could be set up and the reason they had not contacted me since 2021 (no proof of this contact) was due to Covid. Then contradicted the statement by saying payments could not be setup.The letter mandates full payment of the balance within 30 days of receipt of the letter (6/24/24). I have been asked for my card number by phone and they refruse to send written confirmation of any of our discussions by email. They state they need me to make the full payment to close out the account and then they will contact me. I feel very strongly this is a scam to recoup money that has already been paid to the company. I note this is a common practice given the other reviews on the BBB website. I have a concern this is happening to many others and would like the instruction of the BBB on whether I should move forward or if an investigation can be done of the company and its shady business practices. Thank you

    This company sent me a letter about a debt in 2023 and 2024. I have never seen this doctor she never prescribed me anything she would never need any test from me I saw another doctor in her practice. You can not contact this doctor anymore she is out of business since 2019 I could not even get my medical files from her still cannot. ********** moved office at that time which is the doctor I saw in *********. They also have the wrong insurance. They are saying my urine or blood(they cant confirm which one) was mailed to them from ********* to ************. On 10/21/19 so I gave this doctor my blood or urine in ********* that day then it was mailed to ************ to be tested that day and they got the results that day. That is what the company has confirmed via phone calls. There is no bill for this there is no co pay amount of 25$ on my bank statement(I always write checks to Cinderella) for this day they are saying I saw this doctor I have never ever seen. I have my bank statement from that month from Bankplus which I had to go to the bank to get still taped never opened. In 2023 I went thru the correct channels to get all the paper information I needed to be able to pay the Bill. I even sent a dispute letter in the correct amount of time to the company and the attorney certified mail. They offered to email when I talked to them on the phone I refused. I have asked for a hard copy of the bill and toxicology report multiple times and have never gotten one they only want to email me stuff. I also have NEVER been able to contact their attorney they also do not have a number for him. I refused emails and asked for the paper copy ******** times I never got anything. They sent another in 2024 I also once again asked for the paper copy they once again did not send it. I would honestly like them to just leave me alone. I dont mind paying the bill when I have proof, however they have never provided any paper proof this is going on for a year now.

    When I called the day after I sent this. They said they cant send me any hard copys they can only email me. I have no itemized bill because they dont have one they can even mail me. There is no proof this happened because it didnt. If you mailed me a bill the first time (which never happened) you should be able to mail me the bill the second time which they cant.
