    I received a call from someone named ****** on September 12, 2022, after I filled out a questionnaire on instagram for a social club for older/professionals.The My Social Calendar marketed themselves as a social platform for older single people. They organize social dinners and other activities for busy professionals. When ****** called me, I was very specific about what I was interested in.I told her that I am not interested in the bars and clubs scene. I would like to meet with other people and have a nice dinner and possibly establish relationships to go to other activities.She assured me that that is exactly what they do. That it is a $75 per month membership, but that some dinners will have additional fees. I accepted and committed to a 6 month membership, that was the lowest amount of time I could commit to.In September, theres wasnt a single event that matched what was promised.I called them and spoke with a event coordinator, ***** she assured me that they would have more events coming up and she promised me that I would be happy. I searched the October calendar, theres only been bar events and one brunch coming up but its a Halloween event in a haunted place, Im not into those types of events.I reached out to ***** again but she is not responding. Im not even sure that the number I have for her works.And ****** response was that she is only an event coordinator and has no idea about my membership.Bottom line is this is not what I signed up for bars and haunted places. I want to cancel my membership immediately.
