    Today, 7/30/2025, I took my car for inspection to the Midas located at ***********************************************************************************, the same station I passed at 10 months ago. The car has barely had any miles put on it, only driven up and down a ten minute commute a few days a week. They told me it would take 30 minutes to an hour. Two hours later, I am asked if "I can talk" and that "things have been better", and they tell me that my car passed emissions, but unfortunately they have to fail my state inspection because one of my rear struts was "gushing oil." The manager's words, verbatim. I ask for pictures, and am given a picture of a strut that has absolutely no fresh or gushing oil on it. They would not provide any pictures for the other side. I am now filing corporate complaints through Midas and will be providing all the necessary info to have a referee look over the car. Not only is this costing me time, but I am out the money for the state inspection now as well as only have 30 days to make repairs to my car that don't even exist.inspection report # im55799461

    Not only did I not see any oil on my strut that they want to replace, but there were also things recommended that they didn't even check but still recommended for service.

    I just changed the cabin filter not a few months ago, there is maybe  a few hundred miles on it and white, but they sent me a picture of the glove box as the proof my cabin filter needed to be changed, never actually performing the check.

    I waited two hours for a state inspection and my car was returned with half the battery depleted as well. I dropped it off with full battery and that amount would normally take a long amount of driving

    The worst auto repair shop. I left my car there for state inspection. When I went back to receive my car;They said," it did not pass because of a tire chip". In fact my car had passed from the same chip last year. I brought my car to AAA, and they said, "there would be no reason for not passing, your tire was OK!". Also I brought my car to ****** tire department, they refused to change the tire, under warranty. My tire was OK!I went back to Midas again, they refused to give a "PASS" sticker AGAIN.This is the worst experience in my 40 years of driving experience.Years ago my battery was dead, and I had gone to MIDAS KoP. They said, "my battery was OK!" Next day my car did not work again, and I called AAA car towing service, and they checked my car and said "Your battery is dead!". They towed my car to Midas, and MIDAS replaced my battery for FREE!My tire is OK, I need my sticker a.s.ap.

    I got service done at the Midas in King of Prussia they put in a radiator from them in June 2021 and couple other fixing also to my 2006 ***** ****** ex v6 I came back in December of 2021 because my radiator was leaking they was supposed it . I in April or May I called the store to report my radiator was leaking again so I made an appointment and came to them when I got there i told them that my car was overheating and my radiator was leaking fluid. Ted told me that the problem was that my fans weren't working and that is the cause of my radiator to leak fluid .So he said he get the fans & radiator and the price would be $630 I asked them how are they going to charge me for something that I have warranty on. They are supposed have fixed it and that I have warranty on it then Ted wrote down a price of $330 or $320 for everything on the print out of the receipt. I keep all my receipt in my glove compartment I looked it there I have no receipt from the store king of prussia Midas and also I had a picture that was missing from dashboard. I told them to go ahead and do it i was sitting there for about 5-6 hours waiting for my car to get done then they told me that my car would be done soon, As sitting there in the waiting area Ted comes and tell me that oh they brought 2 of the same fan so now they couldnt do anything they would have to order the fans. But my car isn't going to leaking anymore i said are your sure they said yea . They said to me that if they replaced the radiator they will not replace it again if anything happens to it , so they would call me when the fans come in . And I have a question I can't login to my account to get any of my service history that I had done at Midas , that seems kind of funny !
