      I was in an accident, and while I was being checked out by the ************ the 448 Towing and Recovery Employee hooked up my car to be towed. This was against my permission; neither I nor anyone else signed the form allowing them to legally take my vehicle. After the accident occurred I called my sons who responded promptly to the accident site. They arrived to find that 448 towing was taking my vehicle to their lot on **********. They unnecessarily towed my vehicle, seeing how it wasn't in an intersection, rather could've been parked on the corner of where the accident occurred, or taken home by one of my sons. My son spoke with the Officer who responded to the accident, Officer Black, who shared the unsigned towing form I've submitted today, along with additional paperwork to support what happened.

      This was my first car accident my daughter who is 2 was injured and myself we are in therapy the towing company came quickly as they were nearby watching for accidents to happen I tried to get my car 2 days in a row after the accident they dont have a website with business hour to when I came the gate was open so I assumed the business was open only for one of the employees to call someone not an employee to pull a gun out on me in front of my child all because i was knocking on the door for an hour before they closed and they were ignoring the door and came out and locked them when I got back inside my car these people refused to give me a managers number. the companys address that is on file is incorrect and they dont have a website so there is no way of knowing business hours the company the phone number is the phone number I will be filing a complaint through court and a civil lawsuit against this company. This towing company has no sympathy for our people I just got into a car accident and me and my child were injured and now Im getting a gun pulled out on me because people dont want to do there job

      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against 448 Towing and Recovery. This complaint is in regards to their failure to provide proof of the date my vehicle was towed and supporting documentation for their service.On three separate occasionsNovember 14, November 19, and November 25I requested documentation from 448 Towing and Recovery to verify the date and circumstances of the towing. Despite my repeated efforts, they have failed to provide any proof. Their lack of transparency has left me unable to verify whether the charges they have imposed are legitimate.I have reason to believe that my vehicle was not at the stated location long enough to accumulate the fees that they demanded. Without proper documentation, I cannot confirm the validity of their claims.I am requesting the Better Business Bureau to assist in holding 448 Towing and Recovery accountable for their failure to provide the requested information. I also ask that they be required to provide:1.)Proof of the date and time my vehicle was towed.2.)Documentation outlining the fees and charges incurred.3.)Any related correspondence or records to substantiate their claim.The lack of transparency and failure to respond in a timely manner is unprofessional and has caused unnecessary frustration and financial stress.Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.Sincerely,Ms.******** *******
