    The contractor and I reached an agreement to paint my porch back in late August 2023. The starting date was agreed upon as September 5, 2023. Contractor never showed up that week. He contacted me to say he had his phone and wallet stolen. Said he'd be out the week of September 11, never showed up. He again said he'd be out the week of September 18, No Show. And on and on until finally beginning work September 28. He only finished half the work, asked for more money (which I paid) and had since not come back. We agreed on $3,000 to complete the project, $2,000 paid with an additional $300 paid for paint. It is now October 4, 2023.

    He skipped an appointment to give me an estimate. When I called he said that he ahd double booked but couldn't tell me because he forgot to save my number. I let him pick the dat and time to reschedule but he skipped it again and now won't answer his phone.
