    My dad went to get a haircut at this shop. He got out of his car and walked down the few steps to get there. He was using a ******, as he is handicapped. Upon entered, the barber *** told my dad that he shouldnt be driving because hes crippled (yes, he used that word) and that he wouldnt give him a haircut because hes crippled. My dad clarified by asking if he wasnt going to cut his hair. *** said yes that he wouldnt cut his hair. My dad was shocked and left without saying anything further. My dad had already down the hard part of getting down the steps and into the shop. It is illegal for *** to refuse to service something based on their handicap and he also has no right to determine if my dad should be driving or not. *** also does not walk well and he also has a visual impairment. Perhaps *** should be checked to see if he can safely drive a car and cut hair.

    in response to complaint # ********. When customer arrived, I was in process of closing the shop early for the day. Customer was witnessed stumbling while getting out of car. I suggested that customer should not have parked on slant area and  park at an area  that is more flat with no step to descend . Customer is welcome to return during my time at the barbershop.


    Dons Barbershop had never turned away customers of any age or disability. There is no history of past complaints that have been reported.
