Had *************** CD they pay absolutely nothing on *** when they are paying 4 or 5 per cent on regular cds. They know you are virtually stuck with them once you open an ***. Long time customer get run around. Nobody calls tell you they will see if they can get approval for a higher rate. Hoping you let it automatically renew. Charge you a fee of 50 dollars to transfer . If you cash it out you lose the tax benefits of a ****. ******* tells you they don't know why they pay almost nothing on *** cds . What's the benefit of even saving on retirement when there's absolutely no benefit on doing so. The bank totally benefits as they pay you next to nothing and they loan your money out at a high rate.First Commonwealth Bank Response

I would also give -0- rating. After receiving incorrect info during a call to the main office the Delaware Ohio branch manager said she was waiting for me. ******* from the main office told her I was rude and having a "bad" day. When I asked how to close my accounts, she asked questions and seemed happy to get rid of me. At the end, she refused to cash my check and asked me to leave. She said I was rude and she didn't have to take it walking me to the door. I have never been treated this way in all my 70 years. I was a previous Delaware County Bank customer, forced to change to Commonwealth. I went to another branch to cash my 500 check. I will change banks asap.First Commonwealth Bank Response

Opened an account a month ago for my business. Never had access to my online banking, numerous calls and no one could or would help us figure it out. Bank cards Never arrived. Branch unwilling to speak to me, only my husband even though we are equal owners of the business and the account. Closed account because they messed something up on their end and had us drive 45 minutes to get our money back. I couldn't do anything with the money as the check was written out to exclusively my husband. Absolutely the worst banking experience I have ever had. Would never do commercial banking with this organization. Terrible communication and sent ** to collections over a small amount after only 3 months. Also without proper notification. Please save your business and bank elsewhere.First Commonwealth Bank Response

Referral bonus is actually not a gift card as they promote. Its a website you have to sign up on to earn points. My landlord referred me, we both expected a gift card, 7 months later I learn it was a bait switch ploy.First Commonwealth Bank Response

I honestly dont understand how this company does not already have a law suit against them. All they care about is getting their money, they lie, and they NEVER have the customers best interests in mind. I hope they actually do record all their phone conversations because that would be great ammo for a lawyer. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use first commonwealth bank for anything unless you want a headache and to lose money. Oh and if you ever call customer service and get *****, immediately ask for somebody else.Review from Sherry F

I have a car loan with this bank, and tried to send my payment thru my bank. The customer service representative gave me the WRONG information. Luckily my personal banker caught it and didnt send my payment to the wrong bank. Smh. They act like they're at home laying on the couch saying anything that comes to mind.Review from Donna W

THEY ARE VERY INCONSIDERATE!! MY CAR WAS STOLEN 3 TIMES AND ALL THEY WERE WORRIED ABOUT WAS GETTING CAR PAYMENTS PAID. MY CAR WAS GONE FOR 3 MONTHS AND THEY WOULD HARRASS ME AND MY HUSBAND AND BE REALLY MEAN ABOUT COLLECTING. NOT ONCE DID THEY OFFER TO TACK THE PAYMENTS ON THE END OR DEFER (WELL I ASKED ABOUT DEFERMENT AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME OVER $200 FOR A FEE) THE THIRD TIME MY CAR WAS STOLEN IT WAS TOTALLED AND I AM WAITING ON THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO FINALIZE EVERYTHING BECAUSE I HAVE GAP INSURANCE THAT WILL PAY THE BALANCE OFF BUT ****** SAYS TO ME THAT I AM STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOAN. I AM SO UPSET!! WHERE IS THE EMPATHY!!!??? DEF WILL NOT USE THEM WHEN I AM GETTING A NEW CAR LOAN!!Review from Kaci H

We've had a car loan with FCB since March of 2020 and so far so good. Everytime I call them they are very courteous, get me to the right department and answer my questions. We are thinking about going with them for a home equity loan but after reading all of the previous reviews we are very hesitant.Review from Diana S

If I could do no stars I would. Whatever you do......DO NOT DO A LOAN!!!!! I have been with them since they bought out my bank and they are horrible. It is not my fault that I had an agreement with the last bank, and they can't honor that. I have tried to work with them, but they say it is still my fault when I had an agreement. Not only that I signed papers twice because they gave me the wrong ones to have money move automictically and yet it still never was done correctly. They shouldn't be a bank at this point, I have had nothing but problems with them and I have only had them a few months. They are keeping my money and won't give it back because they claim I cancelled something. Again, maybe they should answer their phone or maybe answer the emails I have been send them. DON'T GO TO THIS BANK, unless you like dealing with nothing but issues.
