My car got towed on Wednesday the 13th 2005 in *********** **. My car was in an oringal parking spot. The cops wanted my car towed due the license plate being suspended for tolls. Where my car was at the towing company could not get it. The towing company personally got into my vehicle and drove off in without my consent. No towing company should not get into no personal vehicle to drive a person car. Furthermore they want to charge me 400$ and gas when in fact my car never got towed. I called the police and he said the towing company choose to do that. And he never seen that happened before. I hope nothing is missing out my car or my car is not damaged. The towning company has nothing up with the prices up nothing stating that are allow to get in personal vehicles. Nothing in black and white indicates what they telling me on black and white just there words.

I did not authorize this towing company to drive my personal car. When I finally got my car back personal things were missing out my vehicle. I spoke with the towing to let them know that things were missing and it was not legal to drive my car. They said that they arent liable for anything but only the towing company had access to my car. And drive it unauthorized.

    In regards to this complaint.

We received a call from Dauphin County 911 for a vehicle needing towed from ********* & *************** in *********** **, requested by the ***************************** this location is 0.2 miles from our building and lot, We arrived scene with the police department and the Officer On-Scene has the Authority to Move the vehicle as he deems necessary. This practice was implemented by the State Of PA in 2022 under the State Police Qualified Driver Program...

We also have access to a repair/towing tag which allows us to drive an unlicensed vehicle under that tag and covered by our insurance.

The Vehicle was Stopped for Suspended Drivers License, Suspended Registration, Displaying Fake Inspection Stickers & Knowingly Defrauding The State Of ************ in ********************************************************************** )

So this customer intentionally put public safety at risk because the car wasn't safe to be operated and the driver wasn't legal to operate it which means had they caused and Accident the insurance company can deny the claim.

As for personal items the vehicle was on Police Dash Cam ******** to Our Lot and a full Picture Inventory Was Made At that Time and the vehicle was on 24hr motion sensor camera from all sides and it wasn't accessed by anyone until the customer picked it up. And any towed vehicle we tow or ANY COMPANY tows are granted access by the respective department to remove it from the roadway so that's an issue for the department

Our rates are on public display for everyone to see in our building during normal appointment hours.

The customer was also not charged storage for the 3 days the car was at our lot only 1 day and was charged a reduced tow rate of $195 not the $375 as posted in our building the fuel surcharge is common as we still have to drive to and from the location of the call out.
