    Company was hired for a 75th birthday party. The venue was to be decorated in navy blue and gold. The venue was 90% white with just royal blue and yellow and gold runners. Gold chargers. The planner promised to take care of our needs for $900. She was to use $600 submitted to buy apps -fruit trays cheese trays and cookies. On my way to the party I stopped at ****** and bought the cheesecakes cookies napkins. She was also to buy apple pies and cheesecakes. She purchased breakfast cakes. This did not or could not costs $600. She was not able to provide any receipts for the money. She refused to answer where the money went. She did not give a refund for the money she didnt use. The bar was set up so the guests did not know what was available. There was a lot left over. As the host I was asked to get ice for the bar. We were informed that they satisfied their contractual duties. We did NOT ever receive our signed contract but promised to get one on more than five occasions. There was a party for 110 ppl. After asking about the receipts and refund we were told to not contact them anymore. She was to buy candies for favors. She did not put out all the favors. This is not doing business with integrity or honesty. No contract no receipts no refund is very dishonest and ppl should think twice about the services they say they will provide. One host never received receipts for the cash payments she made. Businesses have to report all money received and paid. I am still waiting to receive my refund.
