June 7th at about 830pm, they overcharged us $139.97 for two cheeseburgers and a single Moscow mule. They swiped my card for $39.97, which was the correct amount on the receipt presented to me, then we left a ***** tip to make it $50.00 even. After we left the restaurant the amount was altered in their point of sale system to be $139.97. We found the discrepancy a week after the dinner, while reviewing my checking account and promptly went in to talk to the bartender ******(t?), on June 14th at noon.. Who was supposed to leave a note for the manager ***********************. Went in again the next day, June 15th, and they claimed no note was left. Ironically, ******(t?) was the cashier/waiter on the receipt I signed and may be the beneficiary of the taken money. We received *************************** number and called him directly after giving him a screenshot of my bank account of the charge, as he requested. He acknowledged that is what occurred in text, but they have since refused to produce the receipt I signed that evening for the meal to the bank to refund the huge tip they gave themselves. Until they furnish the receipt for this meal this matter remains unresolved with the bank to issue a refund of $100.00 less any tip that would have been left for the waitress, which was NOT $100!! This was seemingly blatant theft from the waitress and I'm left unsure how to proceed as I have made multiple attempts to resolve this both with the restaurant and bank, while the bank points towards filing a police report for the theft and possible civil actions, it hardly seems worth it for $100, but this establishment, being close to any airport, may be doing this to many other patrons on a daily basis to the tune of thousands weekly. The owner/manager, *************************** phone number is ************

This matter was resolved and the individual (*************************) was paid in full for the mistake. Multiple attempts were made to reach him before BBB was involved to no avail. Myself (the owner) even reached out to him by phone and email and heard nothing back. Finally my manager got ahold of him and resolved the matter.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that their resolution was satisfactory to me, although they did not reach out on numerous occasions, as they stated. Nor did they ever provide a receipt to me as I had always, and only asked for. They paid $90 cash as the refund. It took me going back into the restaurant a fourth time after leaving another message that went unanswered to reach this resolution. Only through this complaint was this actually addressed.

    Regards,
