Was very? disappointed with how I was treated after the sale. Did not really explain anything. For being a top of the line camper it was built very poorly. Trim not nailed in place. Then found out later the trim is only made out of a pressed cardboard. Don't get wet at all or it's destroyed. One of the doors is even flaking cardboard without getting wet. And to top it off to make my experience completely horrible with this place . And thank God I'm an HVAC guy . Less than a year old having trouble with the heat . I looked into it and found that the blower motor is no longer working . I called to see if I can bring in the furnace itself in as opposed to the whole camper. And having to get a hotel room while they have it. Salesperson said it wouldn't be a problem. Then I got a hold of ****** in the service department. I was told maybe it would be possible. So I described how I came about the conclusion that blower motor was bad. ****** in the service department wasn't convinced, treated me like an idiot and I'd have to bring the camper in for however long they would keep it until they got around to it. That was unacceptable to me as it would probably cost me thousands in hotel rooms for a simple warranty fix. Which in the end cost me $75. Only because I could fix it myself. So much for the warranty. And so much for their service.

In response to ****** Gibeaus complaint and comments about his experience with Campers Inn.

He comments that Did not explain anything I am guessing that he is referring to his in-service demonstration on his day of delivery, we dedicate a minimum of 1.5 hours to show every new ** owner how to operate their new ** going through the ******* Water Electrical and ************** and then do a question and answer after the demo to clear up any thing the new ** owner may have missed or has questions on and our records show that we in fact spent almost 2 hours with the Gibeaus during their in-service demo.

Relative to his comment about the Trim not being nailed in place and his comment about the trim being made out of pressed cardboard, we dont manufacture the ** so we have no control about what materials are used when building them, we sell and service them and part of our prep is to look for any adjustments needed such as a loose piece of trims and repair it and then test all of the ******* Water Electrical and ************** to make sure they are functioning properly for the new ** owner.

Now to the core of the complaint, our records indicate that Mr. ****** had contacted Campers Inn about a furnace problem and wanted to bring in the furnace so we could diagnose the problem and fix it under warranty. We explained that it would be better to bring the trailer in so we could to do a complete diagnoses to make sure there wasnt something else causing his lack of heat problem, our notes say he did not want to bring the trailer in, just the furnace.

Mr. ****** told us that it would be more economical to buy a blower motor and install it himself than bring the trailer into our shop for service, he was told by us that he changed his mind to please give us a call back so we could set up an appointment, we did not hear back from him until we received this BBB complaint.

******* is a seasoned customer service representative here at ********************** Inn and would never treat a customer like an idiot.

So with all of that said, even without the opportunity to do the diagnostic on the furnace we are willing to reimburse Mr. ****** the $78.47 for the furnace motor he purchased to resolve his no heat problem.

Our service manage will make arrangements to send him a check this week.

We bought a 2008 Roadtrek from the Philadelphia Campers Inn dealership in Jan. 2023. They assured us they had thoroughly gone over the vehicle & that it would be able to be registered in MD (where we live) without issue. After a lot of confusion over whether or not we needed a safety inspection, we received word in the spring of 2023 from the titling company that a safety inspection would be needed. The results of the safety inspection were that the vehicle had such extensive rust that it was not safe to drive, that a screwdriver could poke through the frame in places due to the rust, & that the *************** that hold the engine in place were compromised w/rust. We contacted the ************************* manager, who assured us that this couldn't be accurate. His directive to us was to have us drive the ** 3 hours north to return it to the dealership so his people could look at it. With time running out on our temp tag, & not wanting to be stuck w/ an unregistered ** in our driveway, we held our breath & drove it back to the dealership. We return it on May 6, 2023. Eventually, the dealership said they were taking the vehicle to a 3rd party shop to have all the needed repairs completed. We were in regular contact with the dealership through the summer & fall. Finally, in the late fall, the dealership told us that the 3rd party shop would have the work completed by the end of December. Then we were told that things had changed (we were not told what) and that the ** would not be coming back to us. We had been communicating primarily with the service manager up to this point, but he turned us over to the *** On December 22 he told us they would either find us a new ** and do a collateral swap, or they would make us whole financially. He assured us the matter would be resolved before the new year. However, it is now February 12 & we haven't heard anything further from the *** This whole matter is unacceptable & an example of why there is no trust in ** dealers.

In response to the BBB Complaint ID ******** from *****************************.

We have been delayed in responding to the BBB complaint from ***************************** because I was waiting for authorization to purchase the motorhome back from her which I now have.

We Paid off her loan with BMO Bank last week and sent out a check this afternoon to return the $10,500. Down payment she made when she purchased the motorhome and $6312.80 to reimburse her for all of the monthly payments she made to BMO Bank.

Our service department is removing a Back Up Camera she purchased from a 3rd party and are shipping it back to her because it was not part of the original vehicle she purchased from us.

Upon ******** receiving the check for $16, 812.80 we consider this unfortunate situation closed.

October 2023 I traded my pop up in for a 2024 pop up, i agreed on the purchase and finance price of $******, i received a call saying that a three year warranty was added to the contract which i did not ask for nor agreed to. When I went and signed the papework on Saturday i was told the extra $4000 will be taken care of, Campers Inn will send Aqua finance a check for the warranty price and my finance amount will be the ****** agreed upon. It is now 3months later and after signing the cancellation of warranty paperwork three times this still has not been resolved. I emailed the manager no response I call and talk to **** the finance manager and NOTHING gets resolved. If i do not call campers inn no will will call me to let me know what is going on with this. They are collecting interest on this extra $4000 added to the contract that i did not agree to, which is fraud and i have signed the cancellation form 3x's. I want this warranty off my contract and this fixed immediately i have been dealing with this for 3 months now. NOt only do i want this extra $4000 off my contract i feel campers inn should accomdate me in another way for all this i have been dealing with, the customer service has been horrible and no contact with their customers. i want this resolved!

    hello

how much longer are we giving campers inn before they respond?  it's been 3months now and they are earning interest on the extra $4000 on my loan not authorized?

We have spoken with *************************** a number of times since October about the **** extended warranty he did not wish to purchase.

Unfortunately, we had a change in business managers during the time period of ******* purchase and for no good reason this cancelation got lost in the shuffle between our old finance manager, a temporary finance manager and our current finance manager.

We have canceled the extended warranty and requested a check from our corporate payables department for the full price of the warranty.

As the extended warranty was itemized on the Aqua Finance contract the refund will go directly to Aqua Finance reducing the principle of the loan by $3844. ( PLEASE SEE ATTACHED CONTRACT AND CHECK REQUEST)

As soon as I get confirmation the check has been sent I will send you an email with the date it was sent to Aqua Finance.

We apologize to ***** for our poor handling of this cancelation and communication related to the refund.

I am rejecting this response because:
I do not want this case closed until i see proof that the warranty has been paid and I feel for 3 months i was given the run around and no communication was extended to me unless i called Campers Inn,  i feel some kind of compensation would be accurate at this time.

The dealer recommended an extended warranty which we were told covered everything. We had a repair a few months ago and the warranty company stated that the repair was not covered and then we found out that many items are not covered. We contact the dealer in October to cancel the warranty. The dealer refuses to even respond and has not canceled the warranty. The total is $5,493.00 and we are entitled a pro-rated refund.

***************** contacted Campers Inn by email on October 31, 2023 about canceling the *** extended service contract they had purchased with the **************** motorhome they purchased from Campers Inn.

Unfortunately our Business Manger had resigned a week earlier on October 14, 2023 and that is the only person in the dealership that can process *** cancelations.

Our new Business Manager started on November 1, 2023 and unfortunately we had a backlog of contracts and cancelations that had accumulated and it has taken a little time to get caught up.

***************** *** contract cancelation has been put into process as of 11/30/23 and *** with send a prorated refund to **** ** ******* who is the lien holder on the motorhome.

We apologize for the delay, unfortunately we were without a Business Manager for several weeks and that is what caused the delay in cancelation
