My issue is less with Aegis, specifically, but with their underwriter, ******. Once I filed the claim, it was handed off to ******. The customer service and claims managers at ****** are completely unresponsive. It took five months to resolve a $97 claim. Within those five months, I called five times to get updated status of the claim, and each time I was told that my claim was going to be "escalated," which did exactly nothing. Ten emails went unanswered. When Zurich finally reached out, it was to request additional documentation. I had questions about what to provide and those messages went unanswered also. In order to get someone at ****** to actually review the documents I submitted and follow up, I had to call customer service at ********************** who then had to reach out to the underwriter. It is inefficient and frustrating. The claim is finally resolved, but I won't be using Aegis again because I do not want to deal with this level of unresponsiveness from their underwriter, ******.

Bought tickets for my wife and I to go see a band that she loves to listen to, but we had to relocate out of state due to unforseen circumstances, we had 2 vip tickets and the "ticket insurance" but when we tried to get it refunded and explain that we had to move we were told that "simply moving states and being unable to attend the event" wasn't one of the reasons that the "insurance" would cover. This is something that I've never had to deal with before and quite frankly it has me very disappointed because we were going to go see the concert for my wife's birthday.Every time I've called and asked for a supervisor, just to be told that they would have to "verify and make sure one was available". This is completely unacceptable for a company to offer "ticket insurance" but when it comes to actually holding true to their claims, they tell people that the cancelation had to be one of - Their selected reasons- which goes entirely against the whole idea of getting the ticket insurance the begin with.

Following receipt of this review, we connected with the insured who now mentioned that it was a sickness that prevented them from attending their event. They said that theyll be contacting their doctor for a note. Once we receive that information, well quickly evaluate their claim for reimbursement.***************************, CEO Aegis General Insurance Agency / ***************

This company is fraudulent on so many levels. We purchased fesitval tickets to Sick New World back in 2022, and purchased along with it the "insurance" that totes for medical emergencies will refund all but your purchase of the insurance. So you offer insurance and tote that it is there for you in case something happens, for legitimate Medical cases for concerts and other functions, and then when they are needing to pay out on the covered services for a legitimate Medical Emergency that hospitalized my husband for over a week, they claim it isn't a covered service. The ICU induced stay for a medical emergency would have been, but the additional weeks time in a mental health facility due to the medical emergency making him beyond sick that occurred makes it a non covered service. And because they are linked in time (no time between them), this is a "mental health" non-covered service. My husband almost died, and then to top it off, we get stiffed for concert tickets that were supposed to be a covered service. If I would have known this company was so crooked, I could have attempted to sell my tickets for even a small portion to recoupe my losses instead of now having a $1300 kick to the teeth on top of the medical bills we now have.

This company represents all that is bad with the world these days. They are just out to make money, not pay legitimate claims.
Purchased 3 tickets for an Art Event. My wife hurt her back before-hand and we spent the day in the ER instead of attending the event. After finally contacting the right people and submitting all the documentation, I was told a couple weeks later that the claim was approved and would be mailed out. It never arrived and after one month of calling and being told it would be mailed. A new person told me that since the event went for 3 days, I would only be covered for one day. Reducing the mount to almost nothing.
So this insurance company strings people along and makes it so difficult to actually get your claim, that they hope you will just go away.

Thank you for your inquiry of April 21, 2023 – forwarded to Co-Ordinated Benefit Plans – regarding the above insured’s concerns.

In reviewing the member’s concerns, he referenced issues on receiving the check and expressing concerns of the amount of the claim. Trip cancelled due to a flight cancellation. Very difficult to contact representatives. We had to call them constantly to finally get someone who would take our claim info. We were stranded at the airport, so we rented a car to get home. They refused to cover this....

We believe this individual may be contacting the wrong company. While we have many clients named John Martin in our system, we do not have one with that email address or that traveled recently. Meanwhile, the only claim we received for someone named John Martin in the last 6 months was paid.
If this John Martin does believe they were a GoReady client, then please reply with your policy number &/or the email address that was used to purchase the policy. We’ll be happy to look further into the situation.

Policy #45GRIL1380222,bought for me, husbands and friends claim # 4004040,filed on 07/06/2022.I want to share my experience with the claim department service and the BROADSPIRE company handling the claim for more than 2 months. No calls back ,no emails, no communications from first adjuster Etzer Cheri, second adjuster Theran Hayens, team leader Kandice Tate. I was never treated so poorly by a business and this is very upsetting. We had to come back from our Ecuador trip-the national strike started on 06/13/2022 and turned violent , blocked roads, they are burning bridges in the Amazon, we could not even go the our original booked hotel, neither continue to other destinations , we were left on our own by the tour agency which just left a notice that the trip is canceled .OUR TRIP DID NOT EVEN STARTED !Should we stay and get harm ,is that the advice the travel ins could provided? We could not call the toll free number at that time from Ecuador and the way how your BROADSPIRE third party is handling the claim probably we could ended even with more expenses .Is that yours so called advertised "Stress Less Benefits "?It has been only stress since I filed the claim. I spoke today with Marla Knudson-Broadspire client liaison department and finally get an update ,I was told that the denied letter has been mailed ,and I can file an appeal, which I will do as soon as I got the notice .So my loss date is 6/13/2022,we left Ecuador on 06/16/2022 because there was a strike and it was more than 48 hours since the covered event started, we could not reach any of our destination-not even the hotel, blocked roads ,our lives in danger and claim rejected because of not qualified ????All that info provided multiply times over the phone to the customer service which never been able to connected me with my adjusters. Please process my claim for reimbursement. Ekaterina I******
