    The company is a subcontractor for Sun Setter Awnings and they arranged to have them install my awning. After two months the bolt holding the end bracket is pulling out of the house and the awning is crooked/unstable. I left a voicemail for ***** and sent a text on 7/29 explaining the issue with pictures and he did not respond. The contract I have states there is a one year warranty for the installation.

    This issue has been resolved.  Customer left awning apparently open during inclement weather causing bracket to become loose.  Even though this issue does not fall under the installation warranty which is stated on the installment agreement and the awning installment checklist, Pro Awnings and More, LLC repaired the awning on 8/21/2025 at no cost to the customer.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, there is a wind sensor on the awning that retracts it in the event of inclement weather that could cause damage. This was tested and worked when the installation occurred. There was no discussion about this when the repair was made and I will file a warranty claim with the manufacturer as well.

    However, there is a wind sensor on the awning that retracts it in the event of inclement weather that could cause damage. This was tested and worked when the installation occurred.     I am sorry to hear that Mr. ****** is unhappy with his sunsetter awning and wind sensor product.  This is a great product and ********* has thousands of satisfied customers.  The awning and wind sensor were both installed correctly.  We repaired his loose bracket at no cost after it was left open during inclement weather.

    The owner's manual that Mr. ****** received states that the awning is to be closed during inclement weather. The wind sensor does not prevent rain from pooling on the fabric which can cause extra weight on the awning and can pull the bracket loose.  This is why the awning needs to be closed during inclement weather.

    We feel this issue has been resolved.
