Safeway left such a big mess we called a different company to look at it,well nothing hooked up the new furnace not ready no oil flow not even secured to floor. Our payment to Safeway was ******* plus ******* to fix the problem that Safeway left us.we want to sue safeway llc for the 9 grand they never finished the job never called about everything. And they new furnace was never hooked up. Also burnt the floor scratches in wall and they promised to come back to fix wall and floor. This has nothing to do with furnace but owners and workers mean and yelled at my wife and very unprofessional

Mr ******** entered into a contract with us to install a furnace and air conditioner in May 2024, That install began on June 10th and was completed on June 18th when full and final payment was released. We have not heard back from Mr ******** or his family since. As part of our contract Mr ******** was given a one year labor warranty with Safeway Heating, under which if any issues arose we would come out and remedy them free of charge. The terms of our warranty and contracts do not permit paying a different contractor to make those repairs. From the details Mr ******** gave it seems he is claiming that the oil line was not hooked up and no problem was detected until he went to use the heat. This indicates he had no issue with the air conditioning portion of the job which was functioning appropriately upon the jobs completion. Sometimes oversights do happen and I can not say for certain that isnt the case here. This installation was completed in the middle of an abnormal heat wave and priority was given to getting the air conditioning up and running as quickly as possible. Had Mr ******** reached out to us once he discovered the issue with the oil line we would have immediately remedied this under his warranty at no charge. The average cost to run an oil line is $600-1500. It is concerning to me that someone would charge $6,000 to do that. It is also concerning to me that Mr ******** paid for that at all rather then have us come out free of charge under the terms of his contract. Further, all employees of Safeway Heating are required to thoroughly clean up behind themselves after completing an installation. I received no notification or communication from the family that this was not done and personally came out to deliver a part to the job site on more than one occasion and did not witness this. If it had been communicated, again, we would have returned immediately to rectify. Finally, I received no complaint from the family that staff had yelled at or were rude to anyone. If that had happened and I was made aware it would have been dealt with swiftly and decisively. All communications I received from the family during the installation process were happy and positive.

I am unable to enter a response to this complaint/ Please reopen so that I can respond. The last I heard from *************** he had a clogged drain. We scheduled an appointment to address and when I called him the morning of to confirm since he could only schedule during non-working hours he did not answer or respond to my calls. If *************** would like to reschedule his appointment to make the drain adjustment we would be happy to. Unfortunately this does not qualify as defective equipment for Fujitsu to replace the entire unit under warranty nor does it qualify for a refund under our own warranty as *************** has thousands of dollars worth of good equipment in his home that had been functioning properly for months and needed a routine adjustment.

As a business we do offer a discount to all customers who pay either cash or check as it saves us on credit card processing fees. Since we do not charge a surcharge for using a credit card most customers appreciate this option. At no point in time did anyone pressure ** ****** into paying cash, he opted to in order to receive the discount after inquiring about lowering the price.

Any time there was an issue with ** ******* equipment we have responded to his home. This is a second home for ** ******* they do not live their full time and have limited availability to meet us at the home. The last service appointment we had scheduled and completed was December 15th 2023 at which point the family reported the equipment was working great, they thanked us, and gave us a Christmas present.

On June 7th 2024 we were notified by Ms ****** that one of her units was blowing room temperature air and the other was leaking. The equipment was not giving an error code. She demanded we replace the equipment. I explained to Ms ****** that what she was describing were normal maintenance and upkeep concerns and that she was due for a maintenance and the leak she described sounded to be coming from a drain that had came dislodged. Drains sometimes do come dislodged or clogged during storms or from bugs etc. She advised that she would not be in ************ except on a weekend two weeks away when we are closed. I agreed to the appointment explaining since it was outside normal business hours and they are not full time residents it would need to be confirmed within 24 hours, however, I did not hear back from ** or **s ****** and upon trying to contact Ms ****** the morning of to confirm that they were at the property she did not answer or respond. I have not heard back from them since.

As has been explained to ** and **s ****** numerous times the intermittent issues as they have described do not rise to the level of labeling the equipment lemons or qualify for ******* to replace them under warranty. Had the appointment been confirmed we would have fully evaluated the current issues with the equipment and had they been more extensive then described we would have started the warranty process with *******. ******** warranty process, unfortunately, does not allow for a contractor to simply rip something out and return it once it is out of the box and installed. There is a process that needs to be followed and ******* needs to evaluate the equipment themselves to determine if it is defective. Additionally, any licensed contractor is able to submit a warranty claim through ******* without our involvement if they no longer wish to work with us. Our company warranty is on labor only, does not include labor on warranty issues, and the remainder of their warranty is with the equipment manufacturer (*******).

It is not possible to refund ** ****** as the payment he has made to Safeway Heating is for equipment he currently has in his possession which is covered under a manufacturers warranty and the labor and materials necessary to install that equipment which has already occurred as contracted.

If ** ****** would like to reschedule his appointment during normal business hours to have us evaluate what is currently causing his equipment to function incorrectly under his 1 year service/labor agreement I would be happy to do so and extend that contract an additional 6 months so that this issue can be resolved.

** Multi Zone Mini Split System installed on 01/13/22 to provide my home with heat and air. I paid $15,00.00 for professional installation and have not been able to heat my home since. System broke down the very next day after installation and has Continuously broke down on multiple occasions since the start- forcing me to use electric heaters which are extremely costly to use and dangerous. I can't even leave my home unattended for fear of a fire and also fear of my pipes bursting. This has been a horrible disgusting nightmare. Especially when the owner promised he would not s**** me over but he now claims he can't help because my warranty is over And he doesn't service my area anymore. Horrible to take advantage of a single woman. I want my system to work properly without breaking down constantly because that is what I paid for. Invoice #***

******************* entered into a contract with our company to install a new mini split system on 12/17/21. That installation occurred on January 10th 2022. As part of that contract she was given a 1 year labor warranty. When ******************* experienced issues with that system in immediately following installation due to leaking lineset we replaced all the lineset under warranty, lent her space heaters while the repairs were made, covered a large portion of her electric bill for the time period this was ongoing, and extended her labor warranty by an additional year (for a total of 2 years from installation) with an expiration date of 1/10/2024. During the time period following those repairs prior to the expiration of her warranty we only had contact with ******************* on one occasion when her unit was not working due to needing to be maintenanced. That maintenance was completed for her at no charge on December 14th, 2022. ******************* reached out about an issue with her unit on 1/15/24 at which point it was explained to her that her 2 year labor warranty had expired (1/10/24) and that we were no longer servicing her area due to relocating an hour and a half away. Had ******************* unit not been working between 12/14/22 and 1/10/24 it is unclear why she did not contact us to let us know of the situation since she has had no issue contacting us anytime prior or after. ******************* still has a 12 year manufacturer warranty on her unit that is not tied to our company but her labor warranty with our company has expired.
