    My nightmare began when we filed a claim with my insurance company, and they recommended DISS Restoration. Let the problems begin one issue after another Nate proceeded to have the crew clean room and remove what water damage there was from a leaking pipe from a 2nd floor sink. We took care of stopping the damage from escalating further by shutting off water and hauling out what fell on us while sleeping. I was told the heaters and hoses would need to stay in place for 3 days. I received a call from a lady (my fault did not get her name) from DISS on Friday that she would be picking up all equipment on Saturday which I was happy to hear WOW they called me first without me following up with DISS for equipment pick up I told her I would be waiting at 6am on my day off (Saturday) I got up early to meet her needless to say the call was a lie she never showed (Nate would not tell me her name either which I thought was strange) what was he hiding from me? Excuse I received it was homecoming and she was busy with her daughter who in the hell would even say that to a customer. I called Nate that morning when she did not show and asked if this was fraudulent call, he said it was not, could not believe he asked if I could haul the equipment to our garage and they would pick up that following Monday I told him absolutely would not asking me to haul equipment crazy I could not lift by myself plus if damaged we would be responsible! Let’s proceed with the nightmare after 3 weeks went by with no word from anyone, I thought let me call my insurance company and get a update again she did not know what I was talking about never received the estimate from DISS to approve and release checks I called Nate he told me if she would open her email maybe she would of saw it, the excuse I received was that is daughter was sick another thing you never bring your personal problems to a customer. ** ****** *** ****** *n August I sat with her till she took her last breath and still showed up to fulfil my tasks with my job never once telling a patient about my personal problem I would have been fired on the spot never ever bring personal issues to your job! Nate than submitted the estimate had the checks in our hands within a week but this chaos back and forth was not right nor fair for any customer to go thru he stopped real fast to pick up checks and collected the deductible finding out we were still missing the check for the contractors to proceed with the work when I contacted the Insurance company again while he was waiting at my house I was told she can’t help it the mail carriers are so slow again should of not been told to a customer. Again, onto the nightmare Nate knew from day one I was worried sick about having room completed before the holiday being I was having 7 people staying with me and needed every inch of room I could have in a small home which he laughed off when my husband asked him about a start sate he told me he would start the job without the insurance companies $$$ which was another lie he was cornered on the chaos goes on for 2 months nothing zero zippo my advice find your own contractors and do not file a claim take a loan out for repairs from the start do it all yourself! DISS left my house in a mess, tacks sticking up from pulling carpet padding out which I should of stopped the carpet was not wet even the 2 guys who removed it told me so my furniture damaged and my light fixture hanging by the threads again when asked could you give me a date when the project would be started other people are waiting and we have all workers off to Florida why you telling me this? Hired our own people and my room is complete, and I had no problem finding supplies DISS which was one of the excuses told to me why they could not start the job!
