My complaint is the Mercury's failure to deliver my newspaper. Many times, over the past few years they failed to deliver the newspaper. The next day, I would receive two papers, one from the day before. In a sense I was reading yesterday's news. I complained of this several times, as early as last week. I was told they had delivery problems and were working to resolve them. I informed mercury representative that unless there was improvement in my delivery, I would stop the newspaper. This morning, 12/18/23 there was no newspaper. I called the Mercury complained, informing them I wished to stop my delivery and wanted my premium refunded, I was put on hold for a supervisor.' The supervisor stated, this was common and thought nothing. of the missed deliveries. I informed him I wished to end my subscription and have my money refunded. He said they had no refund policy. I had to take it or leave it. I remarked it was a stupid policy and he hung up on me. I find it strange that a business would subscription for up to a year with no refund policy

As it has been explained to **************, we are short staffed with newspaper carriers.  That is why some days he receives the missed paper the next day.  As long as he reports the issue, his account is credited.

The Mercury ran a special 52 Sunday papers for $59.95. I paid in advance and re eived 5 papers total in a period of 3 months. Called repeatedly and spoke with 4 different circulation personnel. Was assured thus would be corrected. It's been a little over a year now and I have not received a single paper. I asked for a refund or a uninterrupted delivery. To this date not one single paper has been delivered. This is a scam and I am officially reporting it to you hoping for a resolution either a refund or a Sunday paper delivered for the duration of the time that was prepaid. Thank you.
