    In February 2023 I paid 22 hundred dollars to Ed’s Transmission to put in a brand new engine, the warranty company paid him 65 hundred on my behalf. I picked my truck up but was advised by ED not to go over 45 miles an hour. Days later I noticed a funny sound, after that the sound became louder. At this point I thought I needed to get an oil change I tried getting ED to do my oil change but he was too busy. So I proceeded to go to Castrol to get an oil change. At Castrol I explained my problem of the loud sound and my thoughts on how I believed something was wrong. I got my oil changed but also informed that my Cadillac Converter was completely gone, I even went under the truck with the mechanic and he showed me. I then proceeded to get in contact wit ED. All my attempts failed, either he was on vacation or he’s busy or he isn’t there, were the excuses I got. In May my truck completely went out I got it towed home because I couldn’t get in touch with ED, and I didn’t want to just drop it off. Some time when by and now it’s September. I gave him he call he denied taking my converter off but no one else had my truck but him so now he’s saying to bring it in but I’m insisting on the charge being on him. I believe he should maintenance my truck for free if he wouldn’t have took my converter off my truck would be in great shape. I just got a brand new engine. I desperately need some help I’m a single parent and student in cosmetology school and I need my truck but I can’t afford to fix a problem that he caused me. Even after him taking three to four months to even put the engine in, now I don’t have a vehicle and it’s all ED’s fault. Please help me.

    Hope all is well, I just received a letter in the mail about this complaint and i wanted to follow up on it. The customer had called us due to experiencing issues with her vehicle. We asked her to bring it in and we can take a look and see what the possible issue might be. Which she ended up never bringing it and filing a complaint. However we did just talk to her for the second time within the week and have told her to bring the car in so we can take a look and if it has anything to do with us we will gladly repair it at no charge. She did state she would bring it in this week. We want to work with the customer and resolve this issue as we dont want to ruin our reputation but we also dont appreciate the false accusations and information. But we would like to inform you guys at BBB that we have got in touched with the customer and will hopefully see them at some point this week and square things away and fix whatever the issue may be. We dont want any negative reviews on our business and were willing to do whatever it takes to keep those reviews away. We appreciate your time and will do our best to help the customer get back on the road with no issues! Thank you and have a great day!
