I purchased a 2015 Mercedes E400 from Highline Imports in November, 2023. After I arrived home that day, I noticed a burnt oil smell. I assumed it was because some oil spilled when their employee changed the oil. However, two months later the smell was still there so I took it to a local German car repair specialist. They told me that the timing cover and camshaft cover were leaking oil onto the exhaust causing the smell and possible fire risk. Their repair estimate was over $4000. I took the car to another German car repair specialist for a second opinion. They had the same diagnosis and estimate. Because the burnt oil smell is very obvious after driving the car and because both German car repair specialists told me the oil leak was obvious when looking at the engine, I must believe that this dealer knew about the problem before they sold me the car.

The car was thoroughly checked and serviced prior to delivery, and there were no oil leaks. We recommended the Buyer purchase warranty coverage, however he chose to save money and specifically declined any coverage, and purchased the car AS-IS. He never called or communicated any issue with the car, but simply had work done on the car and demanded reimbursement. We are a full service shop, and he could have brought the car in to be check and /or serviced at our expense or at a significant discount. Demanding reimbursement after the fact is absurd.Review from Woodrow F

I cannot recommend the business. I will give it two stars because of my experience with Sean. He was great. They are a broker service, not a dealership. They do not care about the customer service experience. They only care about selling the car. I first bought the car the very first day I had it engine light. Three weeks later I still have an engine light issue. I continued with a conversation with the boss Peter was dismissive and completely unprofessional. I cannot recommend buying something from him. In my opinion, he’s shady.Review from Michael W

Place is horrible. My son bought a vehicle from them thinking he was approved. Days later they told him to return the car and threatened to send the police to our home saying the car was stolen. What for I’m not sure. We had a signed contract. So much falsification going on in that place it’s crazy. How can they still be in business. Gotta stop him! We returned the car and he refused to give the 4,000 dollar down payment. He said my son owed him for the miles that it was driven. My son didn’t have any agreement about mileage. This is after he told him to keep the car over the weekend to see if he could get a different approval. So he tried to write an agreement while we were there. Man is nuts. I forgot to add, he actually called the police on us when he was the one in the wrong. I guess with us being black he thought he would get a different response. So we filed a complaint in court. We live over an hour away and have to go through all this. Who does this stuff to customers? Bad business, rude, ripoff. Don’t ever buy from this place. Don’t believe the fake good customer reviews. They must be family. One star is too much. This place should really be looked into and shut down!!!!!
