On April 18th, 2022 I contacted Absolute Appliance Svc LLC about a problem I was having with my ice maker. ***** the owner said he could stop by that same day on his way home and take a look at it. My husband ***** was at home recovering from major surgery. He met with ***** and explained what was happening. ***** said the ice maker needs to be replaced and he would need a deposit of $135.00. My husband did not know where the checkbook was and ***** asked if ***** could ***** the deposit. Which we did that same day.***** said it would be about 2-3 weeks for the part. A month passed and we heard nothing. I initial sent a text to check in with no response I called the next day and left a message again no response. After 10 more days and several calls and text he finally answered via text. He said his grandmother was hospitalized and was sorry he didn't contact us. He said part was do in the following Wed. After several more text and emails the only communication from him was via text with excuses that his grandmother had passed away and his life was hard. At that point we asked for out deposit back and gave our condolences. He promised several times to either repair or return our deposit. In the meantime my husband recovered from surgery and fixed the icemaker himself.
