    On February 7th I ordered a weapon light from the Streamlight Amazon store. I specifically needed the TLR7 HLX and I paid for expedited shipping as I needed it before a certain date. I received my item and inside of the package was the incorrect light. I received the correct packaging and parts but the light itself was a TLR7 HLX sub which will not fit my gun or holster. I requested a replacement and the next day I received my package and this package had a note that was taped to it from the last person they shipped it to and it states Wrong Item in Box!I requested a return and they would not allow me to return the item and forced me to accept a refund. The refund was going to process up to 30 days after I send the item back and then another 7 days for my bank to process. This is a $200 light and I had two faulty packages sent to me.

         Upon investigation of the claim by **** ********* (Claim ID # *********, Mr. ********* purchased his product either directly through ********** or through a third-party Amazon seller as Streamlight does not sell directly through any retail or ecommerce storefront.A search of our customer service database revealed that ****************** was never contacted by Mr. ********** We cannot determine the root cause of this claim as we were not directly involved with the sale or return of his Streamlight purchase from ******.  

         Upon receipt of this claim, Streamlights Service Department Manager, **** ******,reached out to Mr. ********* to rectify his claim.  Marks spoke with Mr. ********* and immediately sent a replacement TLR-7 HLX along with a prepaid return label for his light and packaging purchased through Amazon.  The *** tracking number on the replacement product is *** # 1Z 12W *********** 9343. Streamlight will bear the cost of the replacement product and postage. 

         Streamlight has a proven track record of superior product quality and customer service as it is a staple of our core philosophy and the foundation upon which we have built our brand.  Any customer who contacts our service department is treated with the utmost respect and we work very hard to provide resolve that promotes best in class customer service. In speaking with Streamlight's customer service department, we have promptly responded to Ms. ***'s emails and her issues had been addressed and account has been deleted and confirmed by our Information Technology department. This information has been relayed to Ms. *** as evidenced by the attached email chain.  As always, Streamlight strives for 'best in class' customer service in a timely manner.  Please advise if there are additional actions required to close out Ms. ***'s complaint.     I have bought ten to twelve Streamlight flashlights over my 47 year law enforcement career. I am retired three (3) times. I currently use a Streamlight Strion*DS HL, patent ending with ****. My wall charger quit working, so I have been using my car charger. Now my car charger quit working. I wrote [email protected] and they sent me a form letter. I am a police officer at ****** ********** in Macon and a deputy sheriff with the **** County Sheriff's Office and need my flashlight at night badly. Thank you.

         Upon investigation of the claim by *************************** (Claim ID # ********),  ******************** did contact Streamlight via email as indicated in his claim. Streamlight responded as reflected in the claim with a form letter requesting that the light was to be sent back to our service department and would be repaired or replaced under warranty.  Streamlights response was referenced in Mr.********* claim. Streamlight never heard back from ******************** until I received this claim from the BBB. If ******************** had called us directly or sent in his light for service, his issue would have been expediently handled under warranty.

         Upon receipt of this claim, Streamlight’s Service Department Manager, *********************, reached out to ******************** to rectify his claim. Upon ****'s conversation with *******************, it was determined he had a faulty switch module. **** immediately sent ******************** a replacement flashlight, charger, and associated charge cords.******************** was happy with the resolve. I have a copy of an email from ******************* stating his complete satisfaction with the resolution of his product issue (attached).

Not only do they make the best flashlight in the world, the gold standard, but they stand behind their entire product line. Thank you to the BBB and Streamlight!
