    EMS Roofing LLC contacted us in August 2024 to assist with having our roof replaced. *** handled working with the insurance company and adjusters. We received a check from the insurance company for $10,761.77 in February 2025. We provided same amount to EMS on 3-31-25 via a personal check since the insurance check was made payable to us. On May 15, 2025, we received a text from *** advising they would start our roof the first week of June weather permitting. On June 7, 2025 I sent *** an email advising we received the final check from the insurance company. On June 10, 2025, the *** office manager spoke to my husband asking when she could pick up the check. My husband stated that we would not be providing the check until the work was finished since we already gave them almost $11k and the work was not even started. The office manager advised that she would speak with Mr. ***** (owner) and have him call us. Since that June 10th phone call, we have not received any updates, phone calls, etc. from *** or their staff. We have sent numerous emails, phone messages, text messages. On July 14th while trying yet again to reach ***, the office manager did pick up the phone and when I told her who was calling, she replied that she could not talk now and that she would have to call me back. We received no return call. At this point, we would like our money returned. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
