******* ******** and I agreed to an appointment to test drive a vehicle. The appointment was setup days in advance. I was asked on 4 occasions if I was coming to the appointment, which I confirmed each time. ******* stated he wanted to make sure the vehicle I was to test drive was ready to go when I arrived. I made plans to take off work, and make the 50 minute drive for the appointment. Upon my arrival the car was not ready, and I say for 45 minutes with 1 follow up stating the battery was dead (which means the car was not even attempted to be ready for my arrival). I was then told another vehicle would be brought up, after approx 15 minutes of being left unattended, I decided to leave as in total I had wasted 3 hours (drive to/from + sitting at a desk with no assistance). The dealership should be held accountable for making false promises and turning ones days upside down. Misleading the community to expect a service only to be left forgotten about is not acceptable in any industry, especially one with thousands of dollars impacting a life.Initial Complaint

Before going to ***************************** on April 5th 2024 for oil change I had no oil leak ********* change I noticed Oil leak coming from underneath the engine - drop by drop Went to ********** on May 2nd 2024 and they confirmed the leak but said they did nothing wrong and suggested to go back to ***************** who put a new part in March 2024 since they installed it incorrectly. There was no leak after putting in new oil filter housing by *************** in march and ***************** suggested that this happens when the oil filter is tightened too much. Went back to ********** and they said if the part is under warranty they can replace for free since they will get money back from mopar. After finding out that it was original mopar part bought from Tri-County spoke to ********** to get it installed. At that time the service manager said he did some research and I would have to pay for the labor. Went back to ***************** and got the part installed and paid for labor. Had to pay $330 in labour plus taxes and problem was fixed...Issue only happened after you did an oil change...I should be reimbursed for the labour + taxes After sending pictures and two emails the service manager finally called me and said I am choosing to believe ***************** regarding this but not them and they will not reimburse me since they did nothing wrong...Pictures and invoices attachedInitial Complaint

I purchased a car from the dealership end of April 2024. Mind you, they sold it to me without completing inspection and emissions testing. Within two days of driving it, the check engine light came on. Multiple problems occurred with the vehicle, including learning about a faulty cylinder head that they did not tell me about when they sold me the vehicle. They have given me a loaner vehicle to hold me over while they repair various issues they have not been forthcoming about, but they have had the car longer than I have had it post purchase and I have made payments on it while it is in their possession. I tried to have them refund me and take the vehicle back, and they have declined each time. I have asked for some form of restitution and have been declined. I would like to return the vehicle for a full refund.Initial Complaint

Originally purchased 2018 **** ******** ** Sport on 09/08/21. Vehicle is covered under 96 month/125K mile warranty through certified pre-owned warranty provided by dealership. Vehicle has returned to the shop as it continues not to start since date of purchase. Vehicle has been in the shop a total of 7 times since date of purchase and is currently in maintenance as of today's date (01/03/24). (Dates of repair - 10/14/21, 11/18/22, 11/21/22, 11/29/22, 11/22/23, 11/28/23, 11/30/23 to current.) The vehicle has only been submitted for maintenance at Jeff D'Ambrosio and has not been modified by anyone other than Jeff D'Ambrosio. They have replaced the batteries for the vehicle 4 times and had to charge them the other 3 times. Currently, they have replaced the entire head unit to prevent further draw on the battery and it is unknown if this will resolve the issue. I have been charged a total of $462.62 for repairs and vehicle rentals despite my vehicle's battery being covered under warranty. I have been without a vehicle for a total of 67 days and counting since date of purchase. Jeff D'Ambrosio continues to band-aid the issue instead of correctly diagnosing and solving it, requiring me to be unable to use the vehicle I purchased. Jeff D'Ambrosio is in violation of the federal Magnuson Moss Warranty Act of 1975. All copies of sale and service paperwork and receipts have been preserved and are in my possession.Initial Complaint

I paid off my car loan September 2023.I went to dealership and provided evidence of mileage and payoff November 2023 to cancel extended warranty purchased with car. Completed forms and returned forms. Warranty cancelled on 11/6 and forwarded to dealership 11/15 by extended warranty company. Called dealership on 11/15 for status of refund and check was mailed to bank. Have called repeatedly to dealership for refund and they have ignored by request and have not provided a refund. The check is to go to the owner of the car when the car is paid off not the bank. The bank is unable to find a check and have not returned any of my calls for better of not wanting to be involved. I am not sure if this is a real warranty that is offered.Initial Complaint

Put my car into their shop for regular inspection. Received a Toll violation from a state I never visited from their car rental. Have asked them since last year to resolve, it’s still going in circles. I’m receiving violation notices under my name. They appealed it but didn’t provide enough information. I live 45 minutes away from their office. I am tired of calling and emailing. I have dealt with two girls in their office- ******* and ******. ****** said the last toll violation attachment did not open yet I tried emailing her, then calling two days later and received no reply but I left a memo with the receptionist who said she’d call me back in 10 minutes (never did). I do not see an email back (7/19/23) stating she received my email attachment showing the violation. I had her email me to confirm her email was correct. I’m trying to get this resolved finally without filing it in small claims.Initial Complaint

On Jul 7, 2023. I purchased a 2009 ****** Avalon from the car dealer mentioned above. The salesman name is ***********************. His number is ***********. About 1 hour after I purchased the vehicle, it became disabled while driving from Pennsylvania to Maryland. The car started smoking and cut off about 2 miles before the Delaware toll collection. The car was towed to **** Towing, *********************************** New Castle De. *****. Phone number is ************. I contacted the dealer on 7-8-2023, and was told that they would pick up vehicle and remedy the situation. Now everything I call they rush me off the phone or don't answer. I purchased this vehicle, without a test drive because they were about to close and I trusted them. Now it's costing me money for **** rides and I have been placed on probation for being late. Can you please help me. Thanks.Initial Complaint

I made an inquiry about a jeep wrangler and this person forged my signature, took my information that I sent from the ***** auto program for an inquiry only and tried to sign me up for financing with **** financing. My credit wasn't high enough so it was denied. This is unethical and illegalInitial Complaint

I bought a used 2018 **** ***** ******** November 2022. Within the first 2 weeks I noticed multiple problems with the car including radio bubbles, a service for electronic stability, and squeaking. I returned December 11th to have these parts replaced. Upon leaving, I still had a persistent squeaking and continued to go to them to investigate. When nothing was being done I contacted my salesman, and they then handed it off to the service manager ***. When telling them my problems, I stated that the service advisor I was working with was making inappropriate comments and remarks to me, while also forgetting to do things I asked him to do. *** refurbished and cleaned all rotors nonetheless and said he was sure the problem was solved. I had gone a total of 4 times for this issue, the last being January, 2023. When leaving, the squeaking persisted. The service advisor I was working with then showed up at my job on Saturday January 28th. He was looking for a charger, he went through the desk of his friend that worked there, and he asked me if I was still having problems with my car. He told me that my rotors needed to be cut and to call Monday, he would do me a favor. I called and never recieved a call back. April 19th, my car broke down with a check engine light and service electronic stability again. I brought it in the next day. When I brought it they were told to look at everything including suspension, brakes, and rotors. They kept it for 3 days and told me they found tools in the throttle. They were told to leave the tools in the car, did not. I was never told what was actually fixed and never given an invoice, I left a voicemail with the service manager for this. He did not call back. A week later, my car broke down again. This time on the highway endangering my life as the tire completely fell off of it. I have been going back and forth on why/how, but they do not take responsibility for poor workmanship. The invoice I finally recieved is forged, and improper.Initial Complaint

I own a ** ****** and it started having issues right after having breaks put on with pulsating when braking. I thought I found the right dealership/garage. After bringing it in several times and not getting results, I reached out to the Service Manager. He did not return my calls. I end up reaching out to the General Manager to get results. We agreed to give them the car while I was on vacation. They had the car for the week and called the day before our return. Said there was a nail in a side wall, and then up-selled on fluid changes. Needless to say we picked up the car, paid for a new tire and fluid changes. Two days later the tire light came back on. They forgot to the put the NEW tire that we paid for on. Infact, we do not believe they did anything but charged us. The GM and owner will not return our email and phone calls. I could have been injured driving on a bad tire. They had even said it was undriveable. NO return calls or emails speaks volumes about who you are dealing with. After 4 attempts to reach them, 2 emails, 2 phone calls they will not respond. They credited us for the tire but not the additional services that were not done. I took my car to another garage to verify this. We are asking for all of our money back (spent thousands with them), and for a mark to be against them and to be investigated. Lastly, they did not have a receipt for us when we picked up the car, only a work order. I had to push them to get a receipt which was posted dated. They offered us a refund of the tire, and played games giving it to us. We only got 1/2 of the money back.
