My husband and I have been customers with ********************************************* and ****************** for at least 5 years now to conduct Preventative Maintenance on our Daiken Ductless Split System (Multi-Zone), Model # 4mx36nmju Serial #*******. We noticed a problem with our system during the last week of May 2025. Because we have a longstanding relationship with Dibiase ***** they were called to diagnose our issue with our (1) indoor floor unit not working. During this time, we have (2) other wall -mounted indoor units which were working efficiently and kept our house cool with no issues prior to their diagnosis and, including the same-day the technician arrived to our home to ***lace the control boards that was recommended by the ***resentatives of the company. (See Estimate # ********* for the amount of $2,880.00)At the time of service, on June 30, 2025 the boards that were ordered and paid for were ***laced; however, the technician **** turned on our outside unit and it started smoking and he pulled the new board that was installed and showed me it had a burned **** on it. Because of this, now my (2) wall units which were working efficiently now no longer works. At this point, I do not have any air conditioning in my home during one of the hottest 90 degree weeks of the year. **** recommended that I will need to ***lace my entire system with a new ***lacement and I asked about seeking a half of my refund which he said that would be up to the sales ***. ** departed my home about 5pm. The following day on July 1, 2025 I called the office and spoke to the Ofc Manager, *****, who offered to send out a Sr. *********** to check out the issues I now have. On July 2, 2025 , I was home when 3 technicians showed up from 2pm -5pm to check outside, the circuit breaker, and the boards which were previously ***laced. Again, no luck and I was provided with same information of considering a new unit.I called both the sales *** and the owner of the company requesting a refund of half the invoice.

      Date: 07/21/2025

We have contacted this customer to resolve the issue and the deposit paid has been refunded. There was a miscommunication between the office and the customer, which led the customer to believe we would not provide them with their deposit back. Please advise next steps to having this complaint removed.
