    I placed an order on July 10, 2025 from Highbourne Deer Farm. It consisted of 1 order of; a two pound pack of Venison ground burger; 1 order of 3 oz Venison Steaks; and 1 order of Venison Bologna. I ordered this as a gift for my son. My order was received on Thursday July 17th, 2025. It arrived in a Styrofoam box. It had 3 small liquid ice packs inside of the box; which were all melted. The meat was not frozen and the meat was not even cold. Everything inside of the box; including the melted ice packs were room temperature. I emailed the farm after receiving my order; on Thursday July 17th; informing them of how my items arrived. I also inquired whether the meat was edible or not. I received no response from the farm regarding my concerns/questions. I researched online the proper way deer meat should be shipped and proper temperature to ensure edible meat once received. Room temperature is not edible or acceptable. I also came upon several negative reviews of the company regarding the same issue. Shipping issues, no response, and receiving rotten meat. Very disappointed I received my order rotten and even more so; no response from the company. I emailed them again this morning July 19, 2025 and requested a refund.

    The business responded to my request for a refund on Saturday July 19th, 2025.   They stated they would submit a refund to me since the meat arrived spoiled.   I will update once I receive the refund from the company.
