    elocal has created a false website advertising the ********** of **************************** which I never authorized nor gave permission to anyone to use my information. Please note that I previously owned a business named ********** of ****************************; I closed that business permanently last year (2023) and the *** has been dissolved with the ****************** of State. Elocal is using my NAME, my profession as an attorney, my reputation as an attorney that I have established over 22 years, they are using my old office address, and saying I am a probate attorney (I have never been a probate attorney). Finally, the website contains a link to my PERSONAL CELL PHONE NUMBER. This is unacceptable and I will seek legal recourse should this fake, misleading, identity stealing, fraudulent, libelous website not be immediately removed. Although our business focuses on providing pay-per-call advertising to thousands of customers, ********************** has a directory component where we provide businesses, firms, and practices with free listings in their local zip code.   The listing in question was one of those free listings and the intent of them is to provide another directory location for your business to be found on the web.  We understand your concerns regarding the lack of correct information on this listing and apologize for that.

    We want to confirm that the listing in question has been promptly removed from our site. We always want to be of help and take such issues seriously and we are glad our Customer Success team was able to remove the listing for you.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The business in question has requested that I remove a review of their business from your website.  I did not post any review of the business; however, if my initial complaint is being used as a "review", I have no objection to that being removed from the business' listing.

    I signed up for roof replacement only leads by this company, I got a call earlier that ended up being a call from this service but it was for a small roof leak caused by a window flashing error and nothing at all wrong with the roof, client has no need or want for a roof replacement. I disputed this charge and was rejected. I only signed up because I was promised roof replacement only leads or I didn't have to pay. This was a simple service visit with a minimal charge, not what I paid 125 per lead for. I want a full refund and cancel the service if this can't be credited now and/or in the future for leads I didn't sign up for. These are way higher than standard leads to be chasing leaks around instead of giving bids for roof replacements like I was supposed to be doing with these leads. This roof looked like it was a few years old at best and I was told these calls were screened before sending them over. I would have declined the service call if I knew it was from elocal and not for someone interested in roof replacement. The text from elocal came well after the call was over, I have several lead sources and will not pay these ridiculously high costs for roof repairs and leaks calls. I was really hoping this service was legit as it sounded good when sold to me

    The company promptly refunded my money and canceled the account. Although upsetting and slight misleading to initially sell the account, they did make it right in the end, and with that I am satisfied. Not nearly as much of my time wasted as other marketing companies have.

    When I first signed up for with Elocal lead services company was hoping it would be another supplemental income to my business along with another lead services that I currently have. Since then I must of received 15 leads, made the call for each lead at least 2-3 times along with text messages etc whatever it took to contact the potential clients. I made contacted with only 2, one of which already hired someone else, the other one customer told me she made the request last year and was confused get a call from me, which made me confused and doubtful about the rest of the leads. Then I tried to get a credit for some of the bad leads which was really hard to do, the rep. said it was a valid lead and that customer made the request and at the time needed someone to bid the project. by the way, some of the leads, customers never set up a voice mail so I couldn't leave any messages. When comparing to the existing leads company that I have at the same time, the ones that I made contacted, none of them on the phone was confused and when I needed to get a credit for the reps. are very helpful and understanding. So after hours and hours of trying to get a hold of the Elocal customers and my rep, ****** was hardly there to help but he was there to take my money. My rep said that I choose a program that has a slim of returns, I was thinking to myself why offer a program to me or why it was there in the first place, that has a slim or in my case zero returns. I'm filing this is because I felt that my $375.00 was not well spent because the service that was offered to me, in my mind was not supposed to be an option, knowingly by Elocal that it has minute % of return. Also the customer service was not helpful, I felt I have walk through fires to get a refund, to me its not worth it to set out an hour to dispute a $15.00 potential credit. I tried to explain this to my rep but it seems that he has all the answers.
