The Miracle Ear web site indicated that they are a BBB
      Accredited Company
Miracle-Ear sent me an mail solicitation for a free hearing
exam and offered me a ****** $50 gift card for allowing them to test my
hearing. They said to bring the mail offer with me.
I did and they kept the mail solicitation. (Fortunately I
made a copy of the mail solicitation, for my records, before I visited their
      office)  [SEE ATTACHMENTS]
I allowed them to test my hearing.
At the conclusion of the tests I requested that they give me
the results of the test so that I could give them to the VA for an upcoming
      appointment.
I was told that they were not allowed to do that.
If I want the results I would have to request them from the
      Miracle Ear head office.
I would then be charged $50. I was told that if I have the
results FAXED to my VA Doctor there would be no charge.
I asked when I would receive the Gift card. The reply was
      “In several weeks”
To date I have not received a $50 gift card. I do not
plan to spend $50 to receive my test results.

NOTE: If you look at their web site they show BBB accredited!

i purchased a used pair of hearing aids about 5 months ago, was told they didnt accept my insurance. have since found out that my insurance pays for the devices completely. They have there own suppliers, I do not pick. Requested to return them, was told not after 30 days, however, if the bank was willing to end the loan then I could return. I needed to call them and did. Explained I couldnt afford 180 a month and could get for free. They= ************** , agreed to end loan. I offered to pay what was owed, as I could and they agreed. I only had to return the aids, call then when done and name of who I gave them too. I called the rep and explained what transpired on the call. Went next day to return the y refused to take, argued that a "bank/loan company" would not do this. Where do they get the right to tell a bank what they can do or not do.. Need to call higher ups. who/where. bank already agreed..need to get returned to to resolve. Pls help

      Good afternoon,

Thank you for bringing the concerns from ************************* to our attention.

************ purchased her hearing aids on July 14, 2022, at which time she put $500.00 down in cash. She then took delivery of the same on July 19, 2022, at which time she chose to finance the remaining balance of $4,949.95.

I have also attached our legal documentation signed both at the sale and delivery.  As per Pennsylvania State law and the Purchase Agreement and Disclosure Agreements, that were clearly read to her in its entirety and that she signed and received copied of, it clearly outlines the non-refundable fees that are charged if you return within 30 days of the delivery date. ************ signed said paperwork with no reservations. She also received copies of everything she signed.

************ was in for her scheduled appointments on 7/26/2022, 8/4/2022 9/1/2022 and on 10/14/2022 at which time we sent her right hearing aid out for repair at no charge. It was delivered to her on October 27, 2022.

On January 5, 2023, ************ contacted the Bloomsburg Miracle-Ear office stating she could no longer afford payments and wished to return her hearing aids and that her health plan now covered hearing health. She was advised during that phone call a return cannot be processed outside of the thirty-day window as written on her paperwork. This is way outside of the window of the time to return our office correctly directed them to speak the finance company as they are who is billing ************ for the remainder of the financed amount.

**. ***** contract for financing is with ********************** which is whom the remainder of the debt is owed.We at Miracle-Ear will work with ************ to ensure that she is getting the best aftercare possible for the remainder of the time she has Miracle-Ear hearing aids. We cannot alleviate of the contractual obligation associated with the purchase of the hearing aids.

************ asked for contact from our office and this same letter will be sent to her via her email address on file today January 26, 2023.
