This review of their Hershey branch located in ** ********* ****** ******* **. I am a veteran who was referred to this community care and waited about 6 months to get seen (referrals do takes sometime) but the VA is on top of taking care of us. I got all the necessary consults and xray completed prior to the community care appointment. I had been waiting for the community care specialist to see me for a possible sinus surgery. This vendor has a policy of 15 minutes prior to the actual consultation appointment time, even for a ‘’consultation’’. They do not call you and they will cancel your appointment and collect a ‘’no show’’ payment from your insurance. Now, with the geographics of this location, a courtesy call would have been ‘’professional’’ to make sure your patient is not in the parking lot or at the elevator or not in an accident. You are located on the 3rd floor inside multi-business building with a joint parking lot that is very tricky to locate. If you look at the other reviews from this website and multiple websites, this vendor is known for SCHEDULING issues, BILLING issues, UNPROFESSIONALISM, and an extremely long wait times. After turning a patient away, they rescheduled my appointment 3 months out. Am I thrilled to go back to this facility? Absolutely…not. There are plenty of community care specialist in the area and I will make sure the VA hospital are informed about this vendor hoping in the future we can remove them in our list. Your dedication to service are completely DIMINISHED. You could have a talented doctor but your administrator, billing, and patient’s TRUST is everything when it comes to Healthcare. I am beyond disappointed to see this kind of treatment facility as I have served in healthcare and military for 16 years and still counting. NO patient should be waiting for 3-6 months, gets turned away, and gets insurance chargers inapproriately. This is not what Healthcare should look like !!!!!!
