    I had an emergency and needed a tooth extraction ASAP .. after calling numerous offices and being told no repeatedly (even though more than a few of their home pages said they took emergency patients) I came across Guru dental.. I called expecting the same, but to my surprise they said they could see me that same afternoon. From the front desk to the hygienist to the Dr.. everyone was kind, patient and very professional.I was a nervous wreck and the hygienist in particular was amazing.I wish I remembered her name but I was so nervous I've forgotten.The DR was also wonderful. Explaining the whole procedure, was gentle as could be, and patient with my fears. They don't take my insurance ********** so I had to pay out of pocket. It's definitely more expensive than it used to be to have a tooth pulled..but so is everything else..I highly recommend this office.

    He wants to do nothing but take advantage of certain people and rob them for money. Upon initial cleaning, I supposedly had a "cavity" that needed fixed. Mind you, prior to this, I never had a toothache. Pretty much drilled them for no reason. Weeks after, teeth became sensitive, stinging pain. I wait about a week before I schedule appointment, get there and he tells me to wait another 2 or 3 weeks and come back in case the pain left. "Prescribed me with Sensodyne. PROCEEDS to point out ANOTHER cavity that he could drill today. NEVER fixed the original one that had problem!
