I submitted a In October 2024, I submitted a written request, delivered by mail, to cancel my membership in accordance with the company's policy. Despite this, I continued to have payments deducted from my account, prompting me to contact the company on December 3, 2024. During this communication, I was informed that a written request or an in-person visit would suffice for processing a cancellation; however, an early cancellation fee would apply, to which I consented.On the same day, I submitted a member survey requesting follow-up from a supervisor. Nevertheless, I continued to be charged for my membership. This prompted me to request a stop payment from the bank. On March 9, I made another attempt to contact the store and was informed that a supervisor was unavailable on weekends and that his superior could be contacted at the ************* location. I called again and received the same message regarding the unavailability of supervisory staff.Subsequently, I visited the store in person on March 12 and was informed that there were no supervisors present, and my account could not be closed due to an outstanding balance from the current month. This situation persisted despite my multiple attempts to resolve the matter over several months, and I was consistently provided with incomplete information. During this period, I submitted a second written request for the cancellation of my membership .The store staff communicated that the supervisor would not proceed with the cancellation until my payments were up to date, regardless of my repeated attempts to terminate the membership over this extended period. Furthermore, I noticed an increase in the monthly charges, which I had not been informed about. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Initial Complaint

WARNING DO NOT GIVE THIS GYM YOUR BANKING INFO *this has all been reported to the police* so if you have a similar story - please let me know so I can add it to my police report. Per the manager **** he gets complaints like this "all the time". This gym will steal from you, without any remorse or urgency to address the situation. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BANKING INFO! $640 was stolen from my bank account the day before Thanksgiving - November 22, 2023. It was obviously very intentional. 4 transactions of $160 each was withdrawn from my personal bank account without any receipt or communication on why they felt they could take this money from me. They are preying on people both not checking their bank accounts and traveling for the holidays. This organization as a whole is set up to make sure people are robbed and have no way of contacting anyone useful to get their money back in a timely manner. I have had issues in the past trying to cancel a service that I was tricked into and never used with this gym so I knew calling the gym would amount to nothing. (I have proof that service was cancelled in August of 2021) If you have an issue, you must go in and deal with their nonchalant attitude that they stole a felony level worth of money from you. Went into the saucon valley gym at 11AM on a Thursday. Was met by the manager **** who was everything BUT helpful on refunding the $640 that was stolen from me a month away from Christmas (***). I was told a mysterious person named ****** who was not present that day (although a half drank bottle of water was at his/her desk) would have information on why I was robbed of over $500. **** was unable to assist AND was unable to provide me anyone's contact information to settle this issue immediately. He stated his “boss” the regional manager and the owner of the gym were in Connecticut doing “I don’t know what”. (AKA: Living off peoples stolen money) I made it clear during my visit that my expectation was to be refunded immediately the same day I came into the gym. **** the manager explained he could not provide me anyone in management or the gym owners contact information. He assured me he would make sure ****** would call me back the same day to get the bank fraud sorted out. I waited all day and zero correspondence from anyone at this gym was received. If anyone knows the owners contact information that **** could not provide, please share. Thank you for reading my experience and I hope it doesnt happen to you or your family.Initial Complaint

I reactivated my fitness club membership in March 2023. When I did this I confirmed that the two classes I wanted to take were still offered. Since then there have been 8 instances where no instructor showed up for class. The yoga instructor complained that she was not being paid and I was told two weeks later that she quit and they had no idea when they would hire someone else. On July 26 the instructor for Pump did not show up. I talked to the manager and told him I was quitting. He said he would talk to the regional manager and call me back. He never did. He said that no matter what he would cancel my membership. As of today it is still active (per the assistant manager ****) I called today because I am getting messages about payment I was told he would call me back. Its been an hour and I have not heard from him. I want my membership canceled and I do not plan to pay any further bills. The managers name is ******.Initial Complaint

I have never had a membership with this gym and my ex-wife used an old card, which is expired now, years ago. My card was supposedly removed yet this is the 2nd year fees have been taken from my account. I personally called last year to have my card removed and again now. So I purchased the gym membership back in 2021. Stop using the gym membership for a while, was told that I couldn't enter the gym because I had a balance of $100. However, the gym keeps charging my card money every week but I'm still not allowed to enter the gym but they keep considering the gym membership active. If I have an active membership I should be able to use the gym and if I can't use the gym then the company should stop charging my card as if I'm attending. I would like a refund of the $49 that they've taken out of my account on February 1st.Initial Complaint

My wife had a trial membership, she was told to pay a fee to cancel it, she paid the fee, and is now getting phone calls while she is at work in a hospital.
