  We purchased our Stiltz elevator after doing reasonably extensive research. It has proven to be an excellent decision – as it converted out 2-story home to a one-story. We are both 75. When our bodies are cooperating, we use the elevator to move things between floors that are too heavy or awkward for us to carry. When, as recently, I had a hip replaced – it allowed me to come home immediately and sleep in my own bed upstairs. Recently we had it serviced – the technician did his thing quickly and completely.

  The Duo Alta elevator was the best solution to our home where there are some 25 steps from the street to the front door. With aging mobility problems we needed a way to get from the garage (underneath the house) to living level and was not interested in a bulky outdoor chair lift. the elevator goes from the garage to the kitchen and relatively unobtrusive. It has been a life saver for my wife who has troubled knees and a heart condition. Additionally, the local installation team (Aging in Place Contracting) in San Diego was very professional and did a nice job in the installation. Would recommend them for anyone in the San Diego area that needs a solution like this.

  They provided perfect installation and quick response to a minor problem.
  I was particularly happy that the wonderful view in my lakefront home was barely affected by the working elevator

  It was either going from our to storey home to a single storey and we couldn't face up to all the hassle of getting out home ready for sale, moving 30 years of stuff to the new home and just dealing with all the things that moving home demands.
  The lift solved the problem and now I can get my invalid wife upstairs to our bedroom no trouble at all. I suspect that in the future I will need to use the lift as well.
  The lift fits well inside our home and doesn't take up much space. I generally live it upstairs during the day so there is only the two pillars downstairs.
  The installation went well and the guys did a good job.
  We had the lift for 6 months now and although it is double the cost of a stair lift it is a far better solution.
  The only thing I would like is to press the up or down button just once rather than having to hold it all the time to keep the lift moving. My wife hasn't the strength do hold the button in so I have to use the remote all the time.

  We purchased the Duo Alta December of last year, it turned out to be great! Two things I would recommend. First, have more than one distributor quote you. Second, once you buy the lift forget about customer service from Stiltz. I called and left messages, I left emails never heard anything they are through once you purchase. All I was asking for is a copy of the warranty, and information of purchasing extended warranty. Have never heard anything from them, finally got answers from the distributor I purchased it from.
  Stiltz has zero customer service, but they do have a great product.

  I had the trio installed, I was apprehensive at first not knowing how the elevator would fit in with my decor but the end results was amazing the safety features are comforting my friends and family are impressed when they see and use it. I’m very satisfied with my decision to install the stiltz trio it holds three people comfortably I love it. The contractors and the installers were very professional informative and clean would definitely recommend them

  The Stiltz lifts were the answer to our concerns over potential slips and falls on the stairs of our3 story house, as we “mature”! We installed 2 lifts and the system performs as advertised. Nothing but compliments from our family on the product and service before, during and after installation!

  Today I got a call from a delightful representative from the Stiltz corporation. Helen M*******. After two years of owning our Stiltz elevator she called to ask me what my thoughts were on our purchase. Most of the time I just hang up on these crank calls. This was different . Her disarming and pleasant demeanor made me hesitate. I’m pleased I did. Our short conversation made my day. (It’s time to give her a raise) Her request to give Stiltz a review was something I had neglected. So here it is.
  It is very enjoyable to know that an investment one has made was worth it. Our Stiltz elevator was and is one of those great choices we have made in our life. Aging in place is both mentally an physically beneficial. We wished to do just that. As time past with our multiple knee replacements , bad backs, and lack of great balance it made it more difficult to carry cumbersome baggage, laundry baskets, etc up and down the stairs safely. A fall down the steps would have been disastrous. We knew it was time for a change. After researching many options it quickly became evident that Stiltz was our solution. Working with The Stiltz team was a pleasure. Simply put , they delivered what was promised. A timely, professionally design ed and installed product that serves our every need both for today and tomorrow. It’s quietness pleased us both. No louder than the microwave. Even our four year old grandson can safely operate it. He finds it a joy to take Meme or Grumpa for a ride.
  The Stiltz elevator has been the best insurance we have ever purchased. It insures we will be able to enjoy all those things we worked so hard to build in our home and community of friends.
