    ***** the owner was yelling at me. She threw a check at me and then refused to return my POA without a lecture. Very Unprofessional.

    Good morning. We have been expecting this review as Sister 2 already reviewed on ****** and Yelp. Sister 2 is the daughter of our seller, who was (I believe) recently put into a nursing home. We had zero communication with Sister 2 throughout the transaction. Rather Sister 1 was our point of contact and had the authority to sign the deed on closing day. Order received and closed timely, including the recording of an ************** of Attorney. At closing, Sister 1 and I talked about proceeds for mom. She requested a wire but was unprepared with wire instructions. She asked if Sister 2 could drop them off at my office, the day after closing. Of course. When Sister 2 arrived, she only had a screen shot of where she wanted mom's proceeds to go. When I tried to explain why I could not accept that screen shot, Sister 2 became angry and aggressive. I told her, with firmness that I do not have to tolerate her behavior when I was trying to be accommodating to their situation. In that case, we issue a check, and they are free to deposit that wherever they need. I left Sister 2 with my closing manager and another settlement officer (also with wire authority) and they tried to diffuse Sister 2 and explain that the protocol is to keep mom's money safe from wire fraud or wire mistakes. When I returned to the conference room with a check, I reminded her that she can put the money wherever it is needed. A wire transfer is a courtesy. Sister 1 and Sister 2 were not represented by real estate agents or attorneys for this transaction. In cases like theirs, we are very careful to be very clear with our points of contact (Sister 1) about processes. However, we are not responsible to "represent them".Sister 2 reminded me about returning the original POA with ignorance and fury. It was very rude. She referred to me as "hey lady". I reminded her that "my name is **** and that is what I prefer in my office". In my profession, we have to deal with emotional sellers and children of sellers (selling their family homes) on a regular basis. We are very delicate with all situations BUT we have a zero tolerance for bullying. I was warned about Sister 2 after a LOVELY closing and transaction with Sister 1, but I had no dealing with her until a day AFTER the closing happened when I was trying to do a favor to Sister 1 for being unprepared.
