the contractor had me sign a contract under fraudulent misrepresentation. the contractor is not license with the city of ************ and at that time maybe even now he was not insured. The contractor lied and said he was licensed. I signed the contract under fraudulent misrepresentation. He took my money in the form of a deposit of $3,750 by check and won't give it back. The contractor tried to get me to sign a cancellation agreement where he would make payments to me then tried to blame me on this cancellation agreement, he wrote block party when the fact is he is not license and insured in my opinion he stole my money. Please get my money back for me I am also going to take legal action against the contract. I just searched Philadelphia data base for contractors he still is not license. It is not right what they did they are not license and I have proof at that time they said they couldn't get licensed because they have an insurance issue. It is not right how this contractor in my opinion just robbed me. He even had the nerve to want to put the deck up without a license and I told him no. This contractor knows if I allow something like that the city could just come and make me take it down. I had to find a license contractor to complete my work. Please see email where they admit they could not get license and they stated they was giving me a refund then turned around and send me that termination agreement where they lie about the termination, but you can clearly see in the email dated 8/7/2024 they said they was going to give my money back. I did not sign that termination agreement because they were lying when they are the ones at fault, they should have just given me my money back in full like I paid them. ********** needs to take responsibility as well since they referred me to them in pro referrals. Please help me.
