I have been a customer at Park America on ******* ****** since 2018. I hadn't driven my car in around a month. Monday the 30th I went to use my vehicle. The attendant mentioned to me he noticed my tailgate was open 5 inches the week prior but never called me to notify. I opened my car saw the entire glovebox thrown around my passenger seat as my center console had been emptied. I asked the attendant what happened and he said had no idea. I immediately went to look for my knife set in the back of my SUV for work and it was gone. Attendant had no idea of what happened and mentioned that I call General manager, I also called the Philadelphia police to make a report. The manager said they weren't liable for anything, I haven't driven the car for over a month and they keep my spare key at the lot as they jockey car's around all day. The manager wanted to give me a few months free parking to replace my knives which is around $2200. I told him that I needed my knives as they are my tools to work and I don't have the funds to replace them. He said he was going to figure something out and I was going to go online and try and recreate the list of knives and tools that were stolen to get the replacement cost. I tried calling the manager to see what he has planned with no answer. I've called every day since the 31st, he's ghosted me. Once the manager cut off communication with me, I called the company and spoke to the VP of operations, explained the situation, he said the manager was to call me and never did. The VP told me to send him the replacement list, I did and haven't heard back, NOW he's not answering my calls. GHOSTED! "The Law States if you've relinquished possession of your keys and cars to a valet or parking garage operator, the transaction is a bailment. The parking garage will be liable for theft or damage to your car. Below is what the law states when personal keys relinquished to the parking lot operators." They refuse to take responsibility!!!!
