      Excellent custom service. They came out the same day I called were courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. They took me through all of their work, made sure that not only the generator was working properly, but that I was satisfied with all the work being done.

      I have used Horizon for over 10 years. Their work has always been excellent and their employees, especially the technicians, are well trained and personal. The tecs have always left my home in clean shape. I have referred Horizon to my friends and neighbors. Everyone has been pleased. Having been the former Chairman of the BBB of Southeastern PA, I know how important reviews are. The above review is both honest and well deserved.

      Always satisfied with Horizon Services. They are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Service is great and they always offer suggestions but I never feel they are trying to upsell me. Recommend Highly!

      We had a sales rep in our home to provide an estimate to replace our entire heat system (boiler, expansion tank, etc.) We discussed with the rep that we were not making a decision that day as we had others lined up for estimates and for him to leave the date on the quote as TBD. While the rep was in my home, there was an incident that left me and my 9 month old baby hurt (not the rep's fault) but this person took full advantage of the distraction. While I was comforting the baby, he shoves his tablet in my spouse's face telling her to sign leading us to believe she was signing to acknowledge the estimate. At no point did he ever say that she was signing the actual service contract. We found out a few days later when we got an email confirming our appointment that we never set. This email had a copy of the contract with my partner's signature copied and pasted in 3 different spots including the waiver for the right to cancel! we called right away to rectify this but were bounced between departments. We finally had them cancel the contract after threatening to contact a lawyer.

      10/18/22: Horizon Services came out and identified the location of a kitchen leak where water did make its way to the unfinished part of my basement 10/19/22: We find a significant amount of water in our finished basement resulting in damaged drywall and carpeting. A different plumber from Horizon comes out and tell us the work they did was fine and that the water was residual water making its way to our sump pump. Thinking we have a different issue on our hands we monitor washer usage, dishwasher usage, etc. On 11/6/22 we have Horizon back out (another different plumber) and he identifies that the job was botched on 10/18/22. The plumber cut off a pipe that he thought was a vent. This pipe was draining bath water into my basement from a 2nd floor bathroom. 6 weeks later and my plumbing issue has not been fixed by Horizon Services. We cannot use this bathroom and there is absolutely no urgency for them to resolve this. I am never able to contact the customer service woman Marissa that is handling my case. I always have to leave a message and wait for a return call. I have currently been waiting for a week to be contacted by their contractor since my kitchen has to torn apart to fix the damage they created.

      Why schedule heater and AC tuneups when the appointments keep getting cancelled? I had a heater tuneup scheduled for October 25 which was cancelled and rescheduled to 1/10/23 (10 - 2). I received a voicemail on 11/8/22 for an opening. I rescheduled for 11/21/22 (12 - 4). Then on the day of the appointment I received a call to cancel and had to reschedule 1/24/23 (10 - 2). No apologies or reason other than the technicians are busy. Too bad, I'm paying for the twice a year tuneups. Horizon's reliability has been declining since merging or being purchased by another corporation. Horizon appears to be commited to jobs with the higher dollar value. My 10 year warranty is over in January 2023 and I'll look for another company for maintenance.

      I had to have a new kitchen faucet installed. It was the cheapest one that Moen makes. The tech who came out was very nice and I didn't have any problems with his work. However, when it came time to pay the bill I was very surprised at the cost. For 1 hr. work I was charged $1,438.00. This is outrageous!!!! Especially for senior citizens that are on a fixed income. My daughter and son-in-law contacted the company and finally on the 3rd day they received a call. Apparently they said they would return the Gold Star Service which I never heard about or have it explained to me. This person told my son-in-law I would be reimbursed approximately $300.00. Nothing was said about the labor cost of around $900.00. Not bad pay for 1 hr work!!!! I have used Horizon in the past and never had this problem before. I would tell my friends if they need a plumber, call you. No more, I will NEVER use Horizon again!!

      This company is a scam! Don't use them. The tech doesn't even know how to test if the outlet has power. He ensured me that the outlet used to connect my water heater unit has power. Then he started claiming the water heater needs to be replaced. Then he asked me to pay $4000-5000 for a replacement. I said I need to think about it. He took $85 and left. Then I found that the outlet doesn't have power at all. After I use an extended cord to get power for the water heater unit. It runs very well. The tech is only coming to trick you to buy new units. They are a scam!!!!!

      I think this is business is operated by extortionist,shake down,flim flam shysters. Horizon Services uses deceptive business practices and are price gouging customers. Their mission is to get as much money as they possibly can. Basically, they stuck me with a $59 “dispatch fee” and then tried to squeeze as much as they could get out of me.
