    Stoltfuz structures sold me a finished garage that was not to code in CT and town hall would not close my permit so I could sell my house until I hired electrician to redo the electrics- I asked for a discount and they offered $500 and we disagreed on balance owed so they went to collections

    ** *************; We do apologize for the frustration on your side. We do build all of our buildings to a certain specification and unless a customer pulls a permit ahead of time and has a special requirement from their township then we consider it to be a standard building with no changes to what is standard. In your case, with you needing it quickly and having it built to standard specifications it became a problem with the township because of pulling the permit after the building was already in place rather than working through the permit process out ahead of time which is normal. With us having a crew come back to address some of those things at no additional cost to you we would have expected that you would be  willing to work with us to get it resolved. We have tried to be gracious with the $500 discount even with the fact of never having gotten the final payment of $2575 which would have been $3075 had the discount not been applied. We do strive to be a company that communicates the best that we can and we do have all of our individual building specifications listed on our website, our quotes and our drawings to eliminate  any confusion on what you are getting.
