            I contracted Hynes in early February for 15 Harvey Classic double-hung vinyl windows - I was told $12000 installed, and that the windows would be here in 4-5 weeks. 3 weeks later I was measured, then they ordered .... 9-10 weeks later, my windows came. When the windows came, Hynes said they'd install me over the weekend - they dropped off supplies - then no-showed the weekend install. I called them and asked to have my contractors install the windows. Hynes offered me $9500 for the uninstalled windows. I begrudgingly accepted, needing to move the project forward as we were losing time & money daily on a front siding job held up. As my contractors installed the windows, it turned out many on the first floor were visibly short 1-2", sitting within. Hynes will not negotiate a lower price, despite the photos. The windows come labeled and were verifiably in the right frames. Hynes will not give me a break, charging me $600+/window for uninstalled $300 windows :(
