A year ago in July I inquired about renting an apartment at One Ardmore Place. I was unaware that I was falsely charged a $1,000 holding fee for an apartment that I never approved to be held for me. Once I became aware I was being charged, I immediately communicated with the building/leasing manager, *******************, both verbally and in writing (via email) that I never requested or approved verbally or in writing for an apartment to be held for me. ******************** agreed with all of my statements (again, I have this in writing) and that he would personally take care of the matter for me. I subsequently considered the matter closed. Then a month ago, I received an email from a collection agency ******** credit) fraudulently claiming that the $1,000 charge is still outstanding and threatening further legal action against me. Again, i NEVER requested or approved any hold on any apartment AND the One Ardmore representative agreed with these facts both verbally AND in writing to me. I can only surmise that One Ardmore is pursuing a fraudulent claim against me and refuses to take care of this issue as they said they would. I would like for this matter to be closed and to be notified of the closure, and any and all information provided to credit agencies be stricken from my record and corrected immediately to accurately reflect what actually took place
