I had work done on my car at an establishment called Center Exit Tire. They diagnosed my vehicle with bad brakes and rotors all the way around the car ( so 4 brakes and 4 rotor), 2 front strut assembly (1 on each side) and 2 sway bar links (1 on each side) I decided i would purchase all the parts that were needed and then i would pay for the labor. The labor was added up to be $650.00 After the initial shock, i agreed to just have the work done there because it was convenient and i dropped the car off on November 17th 2023 and left the car over night so that it would be worked on the following day. The following day, they call me and tell me that my car is ready to be picked up. I agree to come get it. Upon starting my car the “hood ajar” light is illuminated. I tell them that something is wrong and they asked was it like that when i brought it in, which i responded no. They attempted to fix the problem but ran out of time because they closed at 5:00pm that day and i agreed to bring it back the following Friday (November 24th) to leave it over night again and have the problem fixed the following day. The following day they call me and tell me that it wasn’t their fault the hood ajar light is now on and that they will rig it so that it will show the light is off on the steering panel. I say “ok whatever, pull my car outside and lock my keys in it and i will be up to get it after business hours” because i couldn’t find a ride until then. I get a ride up there after they close and my car is no where to be found. I worried where my car was the whole night and the following day i call up there and they said “yes we do have it up here, one of the guys accidentally pulled it inside and we locked it up for the night” i explain how pissed i am but decided to just pick the car up and be done with them. Mind you i had to call off work that night it was locked up. fast forward a week and im still having problems with my car. it is making a noise from the front end.
