She sells pallets. And advertised the brown canopy for sell. When I got it home it was the cheap white one. Then I go back to shop a few days later. She sells me a trash can all dented and lid won't work. I ask her to take money off. When clearly the trash can said five dollars. Cause it didn't work. She charged me 10. Then she sold me acne treatment for 10 dollars and products were missing. She was no help at all. So she blocked me from shopping on her site. And I was never rude or anything. This is also discrimination. So please help. She has been getting away with this for 2 years. Ripping people off. And making money off hard working people. Thank you

     To Whom It May Concern,

This message is in response to a letter I received regarding complaint ID ******** made by ****** **** against myself and my business, Mountain Bargains.

First, I will address the trash can item. The consumer states that the trash can was marked for $5, but the trash can was actually posted online for $10 in the caption. I can provide proof that the caption stated $10. The consumer agreed to pay $10 as posted. The caption also stated that there were dents and so the consumer knew this ahead of purchase. The trash can was tested and worked properly before leaving the premises, and I have a witness that can make a statement as to such.

As per my policies, items must be inspected at pickup. If it is not to your liking, you can lave it behind for a full store credit. A credit for the trash can was offered, but the consumer chose to not bring the item back for credit.

Next, I will address the canopy/tent. Consumer stated that the canopy she received wasn't the correct canopy. Again, I offered a $10 credit for the mishap, which was out of my control, because she didn't inspect the canopy before she left the premises. The consumer kept the canopy and assembled it. She agreed and used that $10 credit toward her next purchase.

Lastly, I will address the skin care item. The product was an acne treatment set and 1 item out of the entire set was missing. She did not inspect the item before leaving the premises. I was available that day when she picked this up. She brought nothing to my attention. When she notified me about it, I offered her a $3 credit, even though I don't know if the item was actually missing since she took it home before telling me anything.Consumer states that I was no help at all, but I answered her timely AND offered her credits that I didnt even have to due per policy standards. I did not discriminate againt her in any way. She was blocked from the online store because she didn't adhere to the stated policies.I am not refunding her because my policy clearly states no refunds and she knew this ahead of any purchases.

    Thank you for your time,

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I don't want to be contacted by the business. I will take the lose. But she needs to learn how to treat people with disabilities and children. Don't make it harder.

    Regards,
