      In April 2019 I bought a 2013 ******* Santa Fe from the Tonkin Gresham Honda in which I bought the extended warranty. In 2021 the engine broke down to which they had to replace it as part of the warranty. In June 2024 the new engine had a knock and needed replacement. I went to the dealership and they told me they couldn't fix it due to the serial numbers on the engine not matching. I informed them they had to replace the original engine under the warranty and they denied my claim. Now the dealership service department wants to charge me 12 thousand dollars to yet again replace this engine. I have tried to work with Tonkin Honda and ******* but no one seems they want to help get a new engine.

      This refund involves a GAP refund I was told I was entitled to after refinancing my car elsewhere. Honda Financial told me I would need to contact the dealership where I bought the car if any refund is due, they would issue a check in the amount I'm owed. I have enclosed all email communication back and forth since 5/30/24 starting with was needed to submit my refund request, besides the email comunication, I have also had at least 3 phone call and 3 in person contact as well.I have spoken to I believe 4 or 5 different people on this matter- I was told that on June 9th a check was mailed to Honda financial and when they receive it they would forward it to me, I have checked with Honda Financial 3 times and they have not received anything. I haven't been told the amount of refund I'm entitled to or a even check number, I have been trying to resolve this with the dealership since the end of May, it is now mid October and all my attempts on a recent update have been ignored completely, I feel as I have been patient enough and have in the past have had a great relationship with this location due to many cars and service I have received and/or bought. All I would like to do is resolve this matter, get clarification and refund I was told I was entitled to.

      I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate the thorough response to this complaint and would have appreciated this explanation alot sooner. In person I was told a check was going to be mailed out on June 9th, I was told via phone that the paper work had been submitted. As you can see by my follow up emails about the situation I clearly had spoken to people at the Honda *at least 4* but then was completely ignored and not followed up with. If speaking to your employees about this is what you did that's great but also maybe, not completely writing off a customer is something that's ************************* not to do as well after a car is sold. I've bought 5 cars from this lot and really felt brushed off and ignored just trying to get clear information.

      On August 5, 2022 I purchased a 2019 ****** Corolla from Tonkin Gresham Honda in *************. The carfax report says no structural damage or accidents/damage reported. I noticed later that there is damage to the car and the paint does not match. When I went back to the dealership they said they knew about the damage, but wouldn't do anything about it because I bought "as is". ******************************* at the *** Tonkin **************** estimated that it would cost $3,114.32 to completely repaint the car and he also indicated that it obviously had damage. In October, I had a flat tire and the *** guy said there was obviously damage to the car, and I should have the rear axel checked. I went to ******************* to have the 2 back tires replaced, and they said the rear back axel was bent, and the driver's side back tire was bent inwards. I had the rear axel work done at that time for $3,069.38. At the time of purchase, I paid to have Cilajet applied to the paint but have delayed getting that done past the 90 day timeframe in order to have these other issues resolved first. I would like ***************************** to pay to have the car inspected for further repairs needed as a result of the damage; pay to completely repaint the car; apply the Cilajet at no additional cost to me; and reimburse me for the ******************* rear *****************. I've attached copies of the Carfax report, paint estimate, Cilajet document, and ******************* invoice. I have color copies of the before and after alignment reports if you need them.

      I purchased a 2019 Honda Civic from this dealership. In March of 2022 the fuel pump failed and it was held in their lot for two months repair. I received the car back under warranty with a replaced fuel pump which failed within 72 hours. The car has been held in their lot waiting for repairs for over six months. At this time they will not provide any compensation other than a loaner car. I cannot trade my car in to retrieve value because they will not accept it unless it is repaired - citing that they didnt manufacture the car. At this point I am Lao g trade in value yet still making payments to the principal of the vehicle which will likely be held for a total of 3/4 of a year or more.
