    I went to the *** Store on Tuesday afternoon 09/03/2024 at 1;30pm to ship a very important package. I dealt directly with the manager. She told me the package would be delivered on 09/04/2024 and I paid the extra shipping cost so it would arrive by 09/04/2024. On 09/04/2024 I was informed by the recipient that the package had not arrived. I tracked the package on the **** website and found the postal service showed they hadn't received the package for shipment. I called the *** store and spoke with the manager. She assured me the package had been picked up and that she would have the store owner call me. On Thursday 09/05/2024 I went to the *** store and spoke with the manager about the status of my package. The package was now to be delivered on Friday 09/06/2024. I asked for a refund in the difference of shipping costs. I fully expected to pay the shipping cost but I should not have to pay the higher cost for next day delivery when it didn't happen. I should only pay for three day delivery. The manager said she cannot make any refund and she would have the owner call me that day. The owner never called. I went back to the *** store on Friday 09/06/2024 and spoke with the manager. She then called the owner of the store, who refused to talk with me. She then said that there was small print stating the delivery date was not guaranteed and no refund was forthcoming. The owner still has not contacted me. All I wanted was the difference in the shipping cost. Instead I'm getting the run around from the store manager and being ignored by the owner.

    I dropped off an envelope at 2:45pm on 8/14, requesting overnight delivery. I was offered "guaranteed delivery by 10am" the next day, 8/15 (also referred to as Next Day Early AM on the website). The package was traveling from ***********, OR to *********, ** (about 330 miles away.) The package was not delivered by 10am on 8/15 - it was actually not delivered until the next day, 8/16. I have contacted the store multiple times (3 emails, 1 store visit, 1 phone call) to discuss what went wrong and possible resolutions, and each time was told that someone would reach out to me. I have not been contacted. I am requesting a partial refund - based off of estimated shipping cost calculator at ********************************, a package of similar size traveling a similar distance would cost $41 to be shipped 2nd day air. I paid $91 for "guaranteed delivery by 10am", and that guarantee was not met. Due to the lack of responsiveness from this store, filing this complaint seems to be my only option at resolution.

    It looks like she not our customer in our system. She would need to reach out to *** for her refund if she dropped something off with us that was pre-paid. *** would be her point of contact.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I did not drop something off that was pre-paid. I walked into *** Store 2576 with the item that needed to be sent, and completed the entire transaction within *** Store 2576. That would be evident by the receipt I provided in my initial documentation (provided to the store via email and provided to BBB.)
