About three weeks ago two of the company's employees talked to me regarding the ****** in the photos. They mentioned PGE and the power lines, and wanted to remove the ******. I said they could be trimmed but not removed. They are barely anywhere near the lines. I informed them that the only time there'd been a problem was when a white oak on the property above us had fallen and taken down a line. A couple of weeks later I came home to find some of the ****** removed. One of the photos shows the gap left. I immediately contacted Asplundh and told them I had not authorized removal. I phoned the next morning and asked that no further removal be done. As I was driving to work I was passed by one of their trucks. I turned round, drove home, spoke with the Asplundh employees, telling them I'd not authorized removal and that they were to leave my property.I am annoyed that the two employees with whom I spoke originally either lied or were too incompetent to know the difference between trimming and removal. There is now a unattractive gap and an occasional maple left in the gap. The majority are, happily, still standing. The company's reviews are largely poor, and I can see why this is the case.I want Asplundh to replace the ****** removed with the same type, so as to hide the gap.
